I start my pre op diet in the morning and all of a sudden I'm craving any and everything... just my luck.

Oemmmgeee! I have a date!!!!!!!!!! My surgery is approved. My date is 11/15. I can't believe it. I am so scared but excited. It all happened so fast. I mean I just went to the seminat 9/8. Yay!!!! If anyone has suggestions pls speak! Tips and helpful ideas are appreciated to. I am only taking off 2 weeks of work so I hope I'll be ok.

Thanks ladies. Yes, I think I'm going to drop her, we haven't been friends too long for me to be very emotional about it. I told her I was starting a diet on Nov first and she texted me saying she is having drinks and pizza at her house on Nov 2nd and don't worry about my diet big is beautiful... I'm done with her.

Hello everyone. I just want to vent a little if thats ok.

So me and a friend walk our kids to school in the mornings, she is skinny, in shape whatever, so as we were walking we saw a mom running with her kid in the jogger stroller and I said " I want to be able to run like that" (living on a military base sometimes everyone knows everyone business) then she said "yeah well if she didn't have her insides changed she would still be eating twinkies. She then said I would rather be fat as hell than have surgery and look gross with all that skin, maybe if she got her ass up and run early she would not have need the surgery, the she went on to say lazy bi***!"

I was floored... I defended the running but i was so hurt... I think I'm going to need to cut her from my life.

Welcome Alecia. I'm still pretty new here too. I hope the rest of your process goes by nice and quick.

I started cleaning like a crazy lady today. I know I'm not going to want to do any cleaning for a week after surgery. I'm trying to be as busy as possible.

It toke awhile because of PCOS but she's here now and I'm loving it and now I'm ready to lose weight for good!!! Especially cuz I want to be healthier and have lots of energy and look good so that I could be a good role model for her too I'm a little worried that I won't know how I will feel the days after surgery and having an infant but luckily my husband will be taking care of her for the first 2 weeks. that's how I feel after 4 kids ages 7, 6, 2 and almost 6 months it's time for me.

My surgery is Nov 6th and my husband will be taking 2 weeks off too, I wishing was longer but I got to be happy with what I can get.

Hi karmagirl... My youngest baby will be 6 months next month, I thought i was the only one getting surgery with an infant... I feel better now lol.

I will be praying you get your approval fast, waiting is the annoying part.

So I drove my husband crazy last night with all the worrying, if even went as far as to say I'm going to cancel my surgery because I'm nervous.

I know if I dont get my surgery I'm going to die young, I'm 29 and my mom passed away 3 months ago at the age of 57 from a heart attack/ heart disease.

ugh! I hate this feeling especially when I fought hard won my appeal and now this.

Falicia004: I know how your feeling. Now that surgery is getting closer for me I'm excited but scared too. I have four girls and I keep doing the "what if" thing with myself.

I didn't tell anyone. Not sure if I will. My husband is the only one who knows.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a mother is one of the hardest thing go through. My mom passed away 3 months ago unexpected. We later found out she had heart disease. I'm very very sorry.

I'm more over being nervous and ready to start the journey. I got my pre op information packet today and now I'm ready for this.

16 days! Damn your one strong woman lol... I literally just shed a tear for you.

Yes, we both will be on the 6th, so exciting to have a surgery buddy on the same day.

How is everyone? Nov 6th is slowly approaching and I ready for my journey to start. My pre-op diet start on Nov 1st. Is it bad that I feel like I want to eat my sweets and drink soda while I can?

Has anyone started a Vitamin routine yet? What are the Vitamins your taking?

Doing researching I've notice a lot of people don't take the same kinds of vitamins.

Hmm the zoo' date=' not sure of SD county but OC has tons of stuff D-land ,Knotts Pretend city and big malls always have stuff like ice rinks, Ferris wheel , nice aquarium in Long Beach and the tide pools in Laguna Beach. How old are your kids? I'm a 52 and a grandma to a 3 yr old boy and newborn baby girl, I have 2 wonderful sons and don't let my age scare you LOL I'm a very young acting Granny![/quote']

Thanks for the ideas, my girls are 7 1/2 yrs old, 6 yrs old, 2 yrs old and 6 mths. We want to take the girls on a trip, something fun.

52 is still very much young.. You have to enjoy your youth as long as you can
