  1. That is what I was thinking too. Maybe needed some extra money this month LOL. I am sorry he IA making you go through hoops and yeah I hate surprises I like everything planned out and not waiver outside those plans
  2. Well the protein helps your body heal.after surgery. 2 weeks post op the 14 pounds is pretty good from what I have read from other posts. When you get cleared for exercise besides walking you will lose a little faster. You just need to let your body heal
  3. LOL. Well hopefully everything will work out Friday and they don't torture you too much. I had that stress test years ago. It was horrific for me but that is because I smoked back then and just couldn't breath afterwards so I freaked out. Wouldn't be bad now since quitting just a few weeks ago I tackled to large flights of stairs without having to take a break or gasping for air. I was very impressed with myself lol
  4. OMG I know!! The first few months flew by but since my last appointment in August everything seems to have slowed down. Almost feels like time halted it is so slow lol
  5. I found if you get like the vanilla cream flavored you can add frozen strawberries and cut up a banana and blend it. Tastes pretty good. Also if you don't want the sugar in the fruit get sugar free jello mix and add just a Tad to each drink. You probably can use the sugar free pudding mixes to. And I use skim milk. Haven't tried with just water. Not that brave yet
  6. I haven't got that far yet. Just depends on insurance company. I hear can take 2 days to a couple months
  7. Seriously??!!! I am upset mad for you!!! How judgmental what nerve!!! My father died at age 46 of a heart attack. I didn't have to go through all that!! Just an ekg
  8. Good luck and God bless!!!
  9. After October 23rd appt will then be waiting gamefor insurance approval then get a surgery date
  10. First appt April 19 and have an appointment on the 24th and final weigh in with surgeon October 23. Hoping for surgery in November
  11. Odor I have 3 kids ages 21-25. And one grandbaby who will be 3 in December. I am 43 and young as ever
  12. The clearance was that just an EKG?
  13. Yeah. Sigh. I do not like this insurance wait forever till surgery process LOL. Did the seminar in March and still have this month weigh in and next months (7months) before even submitting to insurance. Just a long drawn out process that should be between my doctors and I , not insurance companies
  14. This month is going by at a snails pace!! This impatientness is driving me crazy LOL
  15. Maybe you can warn all of us pre-opers. Hope your doing better now
  16. Its a lung function test more or less
  17. Tam I started logging my food and vitamin intake after gaining back some weight. I downloaded myfitnesspal and it helps a lot
  18. My husband attended the seminar with me. The rest of my family is all for me having the surgery. I come from a family full of vanities and if you don't weigh a certain amount your kind of shunned. My Grandpa is the worst saying if I get any bigger they will have to take me to farmers market and weigh me on the livestock scales
  19. Thanks I will call Monday and see if I can get some
  20. Same here but mine should be in November. Already met deductible and out of pocket
  21. Glad you were able to change it. I haven't got to the nervous part yet. I am just on the impatient side still
  22. Jenn do you by chance know what it was he prescribed?
