  2. Turkey bacon is pretty hard. How far along are you?
  3. Wow. Easter. One year almost. This time last year i thought i would never be able to eat again. Was i wrong. Did i ever pay for it! I made leg of lamb, glazed spiral cut ham, baby roasted potatoes in olive oil, asparagus, artichokes, and gluten free chocolate cake. I ate about 3 oz of lamb, 5 baby potatoes about the size of shooter marbles, about 6 small spears of asparagus, and an artichoke about an hour later. And then about two hours after that, a sliver of chocolate cake. No dumping, but the most horrible case of gas for the rest of the evening. When the dog got blamed repeatedly, I never opened my mouth! The ham, tho others raved, was too dry. But you know? It felt like a normal meal. Not bad for a holiday.
  4. It will be a year in april 26.
  5. I just ordered some yesterday. Haven't tried it yet. Won't be here till Monday.

  7. A really good blender. ..lol!
  8. I must admit. The people who talk about eating all those carbs don't seem as successful in weightloss as those that don't. I don't eat bread, much pasta, much potatoes. I confess i save my carb calories for an occasional dark chocolate bite. But i have lost 125 lbs and holding. I Constantly remind myself to eat more protein. I see others who have had the surgery eat tons of bread and empty calories then gripe about the struggles with weightloss. It's all about choice. Ya know?
  9. Baka, Its important not to give up. When i stall i lose inches. I think we are starving our bodies and they fight back. Eat your protein-do your carbs, and EXERCISE! The stall will break.
  10. How about telling us something about yourself, kerry. Of us have had boyfriend or husband problems. Welcome, btw.
  11. Have you checked out the thrift stores? Large or extra large are where most of us end up.
  12. How far along are you?
  13. Sadly-our choices are not theirs. It's not fair to expect the world to accommodate us. Try getting yourself some tasty alternatives. Your favorite fruits and beverages. Special proteins like scallops just for you. And if he starts to gripe, explain that while you don't demand that he change, those scallops for one cost far less than the sodas that he will drink. Or whatever.
  14. I haven't moved an ounce down in two months. I am at 11 months. I have lost a total of over 125 lbs. But would love to lose another 20.
  15. Welcome Fox! This is a Good group.
  16. By That time you will be able to take more fluids in. Its tough at first. Sip. Sip. Sip. Chew. Chew. Chew. Its our mantra at first.
  17. Any idea if Sam's club sells this? I made it from scratch but it was a real pain. Can you send a pic of the package?
