I had the same concern (I'm out a week). I asked my dietician today and she said that one time will not stretch out the pouch. If we stuff it consistently, then the long term outlook of losing and maintaining is at stake.

Heading home!!! Doing really well - no pain meds since last night. Some pain but tolerable. So happy to be able to have runny purées at Christmas!!!

Made it! Surgery went well Now just enjoying the pain on my left side... Ouch you guys weren't kidding.

I agree I go in tomorrow too! I've never been so excited to be called a loser in my life! Lol

It was hard but I did it! Tomorrow morning I will be at the hospital at 730 and am nervous but excited!

Hi there, welcome to the December club- I have my surgery next Wednesday! If you go to the thread December2012 post op group you will find a lot of members who have had surgery on the same date as your wife.

Snow it gets better- after about 3-4 days you don't even crave foods. It is challenging though-- don't give up, keep your eye on the prize !
