  1. Half Way There

I am half way through my insurance process. Looking, hopefully at surgery mid December, Yep just in time for all the Christmas goodies! I am both excited and nervous. I have heard very good things and a few reports of death. That scares me but if I don't have the surgery I face death anyway. I am diabetic, have high BP, and have recently been diagnosed with stage 1 heart failure so I have to do it. I have children and grandchildren that I want to be around to enjoy for a very long time.

I began water aerobics a year ago. 2 hrs a day 5 days a week and I have managed to loose a whold 5 pounds. I have a bad leg and have had back surgery, spinal fusion, so I am limited at my physical activities. The water allows me to do a great deal and I totally enjoy it!

I would love to hear from post surgery patients about your experience. What you can and can't do as far as eating and your excerise routines.
