Jessy, welcome!! You will be so glad you came here!! There is a REAL wealth of information that the members readily share. I have learned soo much just reading their answers!! I'm 33 and health other than my weight. I had to do a physical with my PCP, annual with my GYN, Endoscopy with Gastro, Psych eval with PSY, nutrition counseling, attend an informational seminar with surgeon and meet him one on one. I'm also planning to stop in on his support group that meets once a month. His office finally submitted everything to my insurance on Wednesday, so I'm EAGERLY AWAITING APPROVAL! Again, welcome!

I have to get down to my initial consultation weight. I'm only up four pounds (which I consider nominal) but my surgeon won't operate if I am still up. Should I take an appetite suppressant to help for the next couple weeks?
