How Long Were You Down...

Was anyone told how long you'd be out of commission? Not just for work and strenuous tasks, but driving- ok, ESPECIALLY driving?

I was allowed to drive when I stopped sucking on the pain meds, lol. Went back to work at 3 weeks...probably could have gone back at 2. 4.5 weeks out from surgery and I am not allowed to lift over 20 lbs.

I couldn't drive for one week, it was more of drive when you stop drinking pain meds. I stop like 2 days home, but used the no drive my advantage:) I went back to work at 4 weeks and wasn't cleared to lift anything heavier than 20lbs until 6weeks.

Thanks y'all! I don't think the lifting will be a big deal, but I'm in carpool 4 times a day, so not driving will make me bananas

I went back after a week and could drive as soon as I was off pain meds which was 4 days
