  1. I was given this link by a family friend who works for a company that rehabilitates doctors and professionals for malpractice. You can go to link, click on "DOCFINDER SEARCHES", then click on your state and find your doctor. It will tell you if the doctor's license is up to date, if he/she has had any complaints or disputes with clients, ect. It's a good start to make sure your doctor is legit and had all his credentials up to date! Administrators in Medicine
  2. "Farewell to food tour"....I love that!!! Yeah, I contemplated taking a weekender to Vegas to say goodbye to buffets but Ameristar will just have to do. Did you have your procedure at Heartland Hosp. or Menorah? I'm scheduled for Heartland and I hear it's a smaller hospital so I was just curious what it's like and if I am missing out on not being at a big hospital like Menorah.
  3. Tracy, No I haven't. Actually, everything is happening rather quickly. I went to the seminar 1.5 weeks ago, had my consultation a few days later and scheduled my surgery at the beginning of this week. I'm still waiting for my packet from the nurse about what to do before the surgery. Are you a Malley patient too? Should I anticipate a pre-op diet?
  4. I'm scheduled to have my surgery at the end of this month at the Heartland Spine & Specialty Hospital in OP, Kansas. Just curious if anyone has been there or has had their procedure there. Dr. Malley is my doctor and the only other hospital he works in is Menorah which is booked up, so I was just wanting to hear anyone's experiences at either place!
  5. I'm also a Malley patient! He is wonderful. Yes, he's quiet but he is a sensitive and funny guy once you get to talking with him. I definately feel confident going with him for the procedure. My surgery is for July 31st, I'm so excited!
  6. Hi forum! This site has been so helpful and everyone is so friendly. I'm glad I came accross this website to help me mentally and emotionally prepare for my upcoming surgery on July 31st. I'm so excited to begin this new journey!
