If you failed your psyh exam then they saw something you need to work on before moving forward. Spend this time working on those issues that a specialist wants you to work on. If you put in the hard work during this time your journey post op will be a little easier as you will know how to cope with thing better. Good luck- When did you start toning with weights?
I started at 8 weeks. That is when my doc allowed me to exercise. I started out by playing an indoor soccer game - boy was I tired. I took off from there.- Calorie range
My doc never gave me a range. He has only said eat clean and lean. Always remember protein is 4 calories per gram. So depending on how much protein you are supposed to get will depend on your calories. I shoot for 100 grams of protein - so I start my day out at 400 calories.- Gas
I am 14 months post op and have bad gas still. I have however found out how much my husband loves me. Any man that still loves a woman after some of these smells is a keeper. With that being said get online and buy devrom. It is an internal deodorant that works wonders. I don't know how it works but trust me it works. When I told my hubby I was almost out of them in casual conversation he got online and quickly ordered me two bottles.- Big Butt anyone?
- Big Butt anyone?
My husband has told me many times he wished my butt had stuck around a little bit more. it is really boney when I sit down!- Just One
I would say don't get so wrapped up in numbers on a scale. Is it moving down, up or staying the same. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in a silly little number and forget to celebrate our new lives. Our tiny accomplishments are bot celebrated each day because a number did not go down or it stayed the same. Finding a new way to measure success is key in my opinion.- Steri-strips
It can take up to 6 weeks I believe for them to come off.- Hard knot on left side where incision is?
Yep - but always call your doc for questions. More than likely that is the incision they used to put the instruments in.- Purple, blue, and 2 lbs. up

- Oh how the mighty have fallen
I wish I had a sign that told me I'm full. I seem to always eat one bite to many and then feel so stuffed.- Food Logs Discussion
I was just going by the amount that MFP had given me as a goal. I was over by 2000.- Food Logs Discussion

C-diff is a bacteria that grows in the gut. You get it after taking lots if antibiotics. The treatment is another antibiotic.- OT-I was offered a job today!
I started a new job 1 week post op and I am still there now. It has been a great change and it has opened me up to other opportunities. Congrats- Oh how the mighty have fallen
I am 14 months next week and I would say that our pouches mature and grow just as we have during this journey. I have had months where it seemed like I could eat anything and everything, and months like you are describing. Not sure what causes it and I know I was not much help. I just wanted you to know you were not alone.- Food Logs Discussion
I use my iPhone 99% of the time. When you enter in your food you are given the choices to change your serving size and amount. That is how you change your amount you ate. I added two pictures for you. Hope that helps!- Food Logs Discussion
- toning question
I was in the gym working on toning as soon as doc would let me. Which was 2 months for me I have toned my arms nicely in my opinion. I lost a lot of muscle in my legs - so still working on regaining that muscle. Stomach is my worst area right now. Think I will need surgical intervention there. - How to get back on track -13 years after my bypass?
