  1. I was told no heating pads. I was made to walk the next day after surgery. You may want to try walking in place at home. Things will get better but try to walk inside as much as possible. I timed myself 10 mins and increase it every hour by 5 mins. It sounds crazy but even 30 mins a day help your back and gas pains
  2. This is my second time the first time was 16 years ago. This time much easier because it was done as a closed procedure. I get tired but Protein helps a lot. But I am driving and going back to work on day 12. too weak to do the gym but I am going to try curves gym on Tuesday. Also 275lbs in 2-2012 doing diet presurgery to now 231lbs.
  3. Sorry to say but the doctor is right. Gas pain take gripe water and the pain over the counter stuff should handle it . This is my second time doing the surgery and relax by day 5 you will not even remember the pain .
  4. I live in New Orleans so sugarfree snow balls and snowballs without anything on then help me get the water in. Also blue running Beans help with Protein for the gas I take gripe water.
  5. The nurse is right about 15lbs heavier with iv and stomach swollen from surgery.

  10. This is my 2nd time to have the surgery . I first time was 16yrs ago. But at any rate bread and potatos and chicken nuggets are big no no. Try to no eat anything white ie:bread, rice, potatoes and try not to eat any fried food. I think you will loose more weight and feel better.
