  4. Wow, congrats on entering the dating world. It's a wired scary place! Congrats on the weight loss and good luck on the dating!
  5. Yes!!!! My hubby and I became statistics and got divorced after my surgery. He became so insecure that he became unfaithful in order to make himself feel more needed/important/worthy....whatever you want to call it(years of therapy later!) They get used to us being heavy and not getting looked at; then all the sudden they have to deal with our pretty faces having pretty bodies to match! After trying to convince me for years that our marital problems were because of my weight, I found out it weight had nothing to do with it! If there are any cracks in your relationship right now they will become worse if your not careful. This is why our post-op divorce rates are so high, especially since our self esteems are soaring and their jealousy and insecurities get worse. I'm not putting this personal info out there to be negative! I'm putting it out there so you can know what to look for and NOT be a statistic! Mind you, I'm almost twelve years post op now....we reconciled a few years ago and guess what....he's still jealous! But in a better way! More of the "look all you want but she's going home with me" way!!! It's more pride than fear I guess.
  6. Anjela424-any kind for me. Doesn't matter how small. It might be the worry of swallowing all that water at once that goes along with taking a pill.
  7. Kymbesha!!!! Call your dr about this! It may seem insignificant, but call! It may not be healing right. You never know. I had the old fashioned incision and about two inches of the scar didn't heal right, they had to do this liquid cauterize thing and it was pretty gross. The reason I was given for the poor healing was: poor blood distribution in the fatty stomache tissue. I hope I don't sound like an alarmist; but just call and ask your dr. It will put our minds at ease
  8. Sorry guys, but I'm almost twelve years post op and I still get that feeling occasionally! It's mostly when I try to take a pill though.
  9. It won't take long my dear! Likely about a month, if that. Your going to drop so fast you won't be able to afford to keep up with the clothes shopping!!! My advise is shop cheap (thrift, swaps, etc) until your weight stabilizes.then start buying new!
