I was told no corn, celery, gum, coconut, and popcorn, that they block your anastamosis.

They called me an inbetweener type 1 & 2. My hbga1c is better but I haven't been able to get off insulin. I use 1/3 the insulin I use to. But when I eat flour carbs it shoots my blood sugar up. I was praying for a miracle :/

Dont take it like that! Im sure it was a compliment! I know we are new at the whole accepting compliments thing, but we will learn.. Its like when someone sas you have a pretty face, they mean well but sound like a tard. lol!

I agree with mommytyree. The pretty face comment drives me crazy! People really are clueless.

Some people are so dumb! I would have been bothered by it too!!!! Oh well we can't change stupid.

My mom always told my "you can do bad by yourself" you guys have 2 kids and ok he's good to you but what about the strain doing it by yourself is causing you. Think of how much better things would be for your family with 2 incomes. Its time for him to man up and help provide for his family. Good luck

have you ever had a balloon sitting around for a week or so? about half deflated and saggy. well that's what happened to my boobs!

I hear you all. There are, and have been, plenty of time I wish I had never had the surgery. I LOVED the entire experience of eating. It is all psychological. This continues to weigh on my thoughts, and I feel regret at times. BUT, knowing this about myself, and how easy it would be to cheat by over eating, I now know that I NEED this tool, this procedure, to put the brakes on and force change. After having the surgery, I have taken charge by taking choice out if the equation, the choice to be wreckless with my eating habits. I HAVE to slow down and make myself aware if everything I put in me. The fear of nausea & vomiting is a great eating inhibitor, and the weight loss is a wonderful benefit. And the time it has taken me to heal and adapt to my be stomach has allowed me to slowly change the way I view my wants and needs where food and nutrition is concerned. One of these days I will actually attend a support group and see if that helps. I'm lucky to have the support of family, friends, and this group, to get thru the inconvenient times. Hang in there... This is truly life changing...

I wish they had half servings at restaurants for people who had wls because there more of us out there than people know. I want to own my own speciality restaurant for us after i graduate next year.

This is what happen. The UPS guy asked me to told a package for a tenant. I said yes. He said how are you? I said I'm fine except I lost 43lbs he said I can tell. Then he said I bet your husband is happy. I said I don't know. I was expecting him to say I'm sexy,but no one finds me sexy.
Then................ He said your sexy & I always thought you was sexy. Just keep it between us.
I was like really? Thanks I smile politely & went to wait for my son till the bus came.
