  1. No, it's about the same. I started having those symptoms 3 weeks after surgery and has to have my gallbladder removed. The surgeon said it looked bad once he got in there.
  2.    jenneliza reacted to a post in a topic: Coffe And Tea
  3. As anyone tried grilled onions? I love them but scared to try them. I am 3 1/2 weeks out.
  4. My doctor told me to drink a cup a day (caffeinated) to help with constipation
  5. I couldn't keep anything down, not even Water. It started on July 3rd. I went to hospital on July 5th to get rehydrated and still couldn't keep anything down so July 9th or 10th they did an ultrasound to check my gallbladder and on the 11th an EGD to check the stoma.
  6. Thanks for the input. I think I will try to make an appointment, but he won't be in town until Saturday. I guess I will tough it out until then.
  7. My stoma was 100% blocked. My doctor said he had never seen it. The scar tissue just built up so much nothing could pass through. He had to cut out the scar tissue, make my pouch smaller and make another stoma connection.
  8. Hello all! I had my first RNY and hernia repair on June 13, 2012, a revision RNY and gallbladder removal on July 11, 2012. My main incision is on my right side. It is a nasty looking one, too! Yesterday, I tried moving a chair at a meeting that I quickly realized was too heavy for me to lift. Someone moved it for me and I sat down. About 10-20 minutes later, I started getting stabbing pains about 1-2 inches below my main incision. Has anyone ever experienced this? I don't want to call my doctor just yet because: 1) I'm tired of bugging him and don't want to if this is a normal pain and 2) I don't have anymore time available to leave work (for x-rays and whatnot). The pain worsens when I try to bend and getting in the car is an absolute nightmare.
  9. Thank you! It's like starting back at square one...
  10. My doctor opted not to do a hyda. He did an EGD and discovered the 100% blockage and decided to just look at the gallbladder while he was fixing the stricture. He said the gallbladder just looked awful, he had no choice but to take it. He couldn't believe I was still functioning and going to work. Lol
  11. I not only had gallbladder issues, but also a stricture that was an. 100% blockage. I had to have emergency surgery to do a revision rny and have my gallbladder removed. One more night in the hospital and I get to go home.
  12. My doctor called. I apparently have "sludge" in my gallbladder, so it is not functioning at 100%. I have to go to his hospital, 3 hours away, to get a something scan of my gallbladder and an EGD. So they will either remove my gallbladder or balloon my stoma. And I can't drink anything until all this is over
