  1. I'm pre-op still but I have read so many people talk about the 3 week stall... Metabolisms are weird. Drink a ton of water, stay the course and it will come off... I'm hoping to only weigh in monthly for this reason. Don't know how I'll do with that, but I'll try!
  2. Congrats!!!! How do they do a leak test? I'm hoping to get sleeved in Nov/Dec...
  3. This... All of it! I'm definitely saying all of this. Love it!
  4. I'm 0caligirl0 on MFP, feel free to add me as a friend!
  5. Has anyone had it sweet for breakfast? Think almond milk, berries and a bit of sweetener or honey.
  6. I'm in South OC, just starting my journey and will be going to Dr. Peter LePort in Fountain Valley.
  7. Hi all, I'm pre-op and looking at what my RDA's will be after surgery. Please weigh in and tell me what your RDA's are for cals, fat, protein & carbs. If any of you track your diaries on My Fitness Pal, and want another buddy on there, please give me your name and I'll send you a friend request! I need as much info as I can get, and they allow me to manually enter my nutrition goals. Thanks!!
  8. I'm pre op, and I'm hoping to lose about 110-120lbs. I'm expecting to need/get a TT and breast lift, but wanted to know if there's any way I can avoid having to get my arms done. Any suggestions?

  10. Well, I know you have to decide what's best for you. I'm a single mom too, and KNOW my BMI of 40 is keeping me from living my life. I'm dine being a slave to what I've done to my body. I'm ready to move on. All the best to you. Btw, I'm not telling 90% of the people in my life.
  11. This describes me to a T! I looked into bypass 8 years ago, went thru all the pre appointments, even the psych eval... Didn't get approved. Then, tried Medifast, lost about 35 pounds, and have gained it all back, lost and gained again like 100 times since then. I'm just done! I like the sleeve idea much better than the bypass. Not sure exactly why but it sounds better. Anyways, I made the call on Monday, and got initial info from insurance, found the in-network provider, sent in information forms and they verified my insurance. I have my initial consult and NUT consult scheduled for Oct. 15th, my medical eval scheduled for Oct. 18th, and then will only need to get my psych eval done (as far as I know at this point). They said I could expect to have a surgery date approx 8 weeks from now! Maybe around xmas time? I hope so!!!!
