I like Protein Shakes to. It is my Breakfast every day. Even my boys like them. I really liked Popsicles at this stage just for something to chew on. Refried Beans with cheese. Soups, purée chili. Not spicy though. Heart burn is no fun. Good luck.

I found the boost to be good. There is 10 cal blueberry juice in the juice section. It is really good I didn't like the other flavors. Mio is also good.

I just stuck to full liquids till I didn't have to chew so much. But I did have a small stuff once and awhile just for satisfaction.

Can you have this on soft foods? Or which stage of diet?I would not eat this on the soft food stage. I would say 5 weeks till you ate this. JMO

I found on the pre op that boost were the best drinks and help fill me up. After surgery make sure you get something good the help relive gas b/c that's the worst part I found. Walking really helps. Try not to lay around. Drinking slow an all day will help. Don't push it with introducing food you will get sick. bread is a really bad one to try to soon. I've heard that from a few ladies I keep in contact with. Popsicles were my best friend for the first couple weeks. So much easier than drinking. Get good broth too. Good luck.

You look great' date=' I am less then three weeks away from surgery day and getting scared. Seeing you photo really helps put my mind at ease to know it will be worth it.[/quote']Don't be scared. It will be the best thing you have ever done. Getting use to your stomach is weird b/c you really can eat much. Just stick to the diet plan and don't over do. You will do great. The app really helps.

I'm 4 1/2 weeks out and I am getting about 40 to 60 g of Protein and about 400 to 600 calories a day. I am a bit worried though that I am eating too much :-/I'm not really sure... but as for water' date=' it's been really hard. I've been getting about 30oz a day :-/[/quote']
I think that you can't really eat too much as long as its healthy. Sounds like your doing good to me. As long as you are losing you are good to go????

I can't seem to get that many calories in. I'm at 250-300. I'm doing good with Water. I get around 6 cups a day. What is everyone eating?

I really don't get many calories a day. I try to eat high Protein foods. It's actually all I eat is high protein foods. How many calories is everyone else getting in a day??
-
Yes. It is most likely gas too. I walk it off.

Once you are post op the need to fuel your body with proper food helps. You need so much Proteins and good stuff to make you feel good. You can't really fall of the wagon b/c you will pay for it. Just DO NOT have bad stuff in your house. You will find stuff that is less calories/sugar that are satisfying. Plus you don't feel hungry so you don't feel the need to snack. Good luck.

I'm almost 4 weeks out. I was just wondering when everyone started to be able to eat salad. I miss veggies. I'm not much of a cooked veggie eater I like them raw. TIA
