im 17 and i had my surgery December 21st, 2012 and i start college in august too and i know what you are feeling. a suggestion is to buy the atkins frozen meals because they are high on protein and taste really good. just focus on school and getting healthy thats what im gonna do i know its easier said then done but as long as you work it out it will be easier. best of luck in college.

Because you are not eating a lot so you need the supplements to replace what nutrients you dont get from food -

its the same as if we had our normal stomachs nothing changes unless you had a gastric bypass or duodenal switch -
Np. you will do fine with your surgery you will be nervous but they will most likely give you a sedative in preop which they did for me and was fine and before i knew it i was in the OR and after that i was awake in recovery no big deal just pain a lot of it. BEST OF LUCK!!!!!!!!!

just drink a lot of water walk a lot and eat proteins like chicken, fish and turkey. i have days where i treat myself and dont feel guilty cause its not all the time. and i aside from drinking just water incorporate ice tea too just to have something new. Best of luck when is your surgery?

what i mean is i dont regret it i just wonder how life would be with the RNY. not that i regret it or wish that i had gone a different path just curious how much more drastic my life would have changed. I have lost 58lbs with the sleeve.

the whole point of the operation is to remove the greater curvature of the stomach that produces the hunger hormone ghrelin the only type of hunger people would be talking about is pre op diet hunger or head hunger. -

i had 2 weeks each phase it was hard with liquids cause it gets boring. it will get much better -
i love my ninja and if you order it from QVC you get a mini recipe book with juice recipes
