  1. Thanks everyone for the encouraging words. I'll just take one day at a time and hope for the best (no surgery). Judy
  2. Hi All, Well, here's yet another story of a slipped band  I was banded July 07, and have lost 47 of the 60 pounds I wanted to lose. My 2nd fill was in October(which was a bit on the tight side). Like so many others, I thought what I was feeling was normal. A few weeks ago, the band seemed to become tighter but was able to eat/drink but much, much less. Then, last Friday night, I started vomiting every hour to hour and a half. Through the night, I couldn't even swallow spit. Went to the ER Saturday morning, had a CAT scan run which showed a prolapse. The ER doc was clueless about lap-bands so called for a surgery consult. LUCKILY, the surgeon on call was one of the bariatric surgeons at our small town hospital. He knew to immediately unfill me. I called my surgeon(in Mexico) the next day who recommended full liquids for a week and to schedule a fill with him in 2 to 3 weeks. I guess my question now is....is it pretty normal for the stomach to fall back into place on its own? I haven't had anymore symptoms since my unfill and seem to be doing fine. Thanks for any advice. Judy
