  1. Thank you! I will do that, they sound delicious!! I love my citrus, but you are so right, but it is sooo not my friend right now!
  2. I think I may be on my way to some dehydration issues, too! I'm gonna get some G2 as well! Thanks for the tip! Hang in there Chrissy!!
  3. I just realized I didn't finish this post! Anyway, I probably felt bad last night because I drank a fresh lemonade & the sugar got to me. So that's totally my fault!

    Can't "eat" enough

I'm having the same issues. I hate eating. It hurts & there's no joy in it. I am drinking a lot more than I ever have & that has made a world of difference. I used to come home from work with my ankles & feet looking like elephant legs because they were so swollen. Since I've been back to work, I have not experienced this at all! I love the Crystal Light squirties (like Mio) I have several at my desk. I also like GNC Total Lean protein shakes. They have 25 grams of protein & they don't taste bad. It isn't a chocolate milkshake, but not bad at all. I think I will try the Isopure, since that seems to be a reasonable way to get a lot of protein with little effort & that's what eating is now, much effort! I'm glad we are all in this together though!!! SoBe Lifewater has some cool flavors, too. Mix it up, try lots of different things! Good luck to all!!
  5. Happy Holidays, everyone. I had a wonderful day with my family, but I just don't feel good. I'm tired, weak, irritated, & slightly depressed. Watching my family enjoy our delicious dinner & me sitting there with my spoonful of stuffing, spoonful of mashed potatoes, piece of turkey the size of my thumb. I felt like I was all alone.

I had pretty much the same meal, but I thoroughly enjoyed every morsel. I didn't envy the pies and all the other food everyone else ate. I focused on enjoying my food, and thought how great I'm feeling losing the weight. How far out are you from the surgery?

You are never all alone with this forum. Come on in and vent. Hang in there.

I know how u felt. It was uncomfortable not to eat my desire this year..for Xmas Eve family celebration. however..I did enjoy the fun and games we played after we ate. It was only 20 minutes of hardship followed by hours of fun,

    Dealing with Anxiety

This tpoic has been very helpful & really eye-opening for me. I was sleeved a little over 2 weeks ago & have had lots of trouble sleeping & sometimes walk around my house at night not knowing what to do because I have so much anxiety. Before surgery if I felt this way, I'd head to the fridge & eat. And I would feel better! Last night I started crying because I was just pacing & couldn't get to sleep. My comfort is gone. My love of food, my desire to eat, GONE! I guess I'm in mourning in some way. I'm going to try some light exercises tonight & maybe a little meditation. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences & suggestions.

kicked off of a fair ride....

I was always a ride girl! Never afraid & loved them!! A few years ago when I got to my most heaviest, I just stopped. I feared things malfunctioning or wires snapping because of the force my body would put on everything. Last year before Hurricane Sandy, my family went to Seaside Heights & everyone was riding the rides, except me. I was attempting to go on a haunted house ride with my brother but my sister subltly stopped me & urged me to look at the size of the cars that I would have to sit in. Needless to say, I skipped that ride as well. Well I didn't know that would be my last chance to ride the Wild Mouse, since it ended up in the Atlantic Ocean a few months later I'm 2 weeks post op & one my main motivations is to lose weight so I can COMFORTABLY & WITHOUT ANXIETY ride any ride in any amusement park anywhere!!! Plus I think the less I weigh, the faster I will fly down those water slides!! Congrats to everyone for continuing to reach for their goals & get healthy!!
