I Want To See Before & After Pics! (Cont'd)

Everybody looks amazing! I'm so proud of everybody! Here is my after picture, along with a before picture. Sleeved 5th October 2013 and down from around 240lb to 122lb which gives me a bmi of 23.5

Normal BMI - before & after

    Thank you!! X
  4. Hi everybody I am more of a lurker than a poster but read the forums every day and love hearing how everybody's getting on. Before and after pictures really kept me motivated when I was starting out, so here is mine as I officially hit a normal bmi yesterday! Taking a lot of courage to post my before pictures, they make me so sad. I can't believe I was ever that big - I certainly didn't feel it at the time. I was sleeved on the 5th October 2013 with a BMI of 44 weighing 240lb. As of yesterday my weight is 132lb with a BMI of 24.9. I have gone from a size 20 a 4/6. I want to lose another 12lb to give me a bounce range, but now mainly working on tightening everything up .

    October 2013 Sleevers Roll call!

In my news I am 102lb down and consistently having to buy UK size 8 (US 4) clothes. Is anybody else having issues with their brain not keeping up, though? Even though logically I know I used to look at clothes even in a 12 and thought they looks tiny, I can't reconcile that with how I feel about myself. I still see myself as the fat girl. I bought some size 4 shorts the other day and when I got home took then out of the bag to show my brother. I held them up and he said 'they're so skinny!'. But I look at them hanging up and still don't see them as being small. I don't know if the fact I have some loose skin isn't helping but I don't know how to fix my brain! I took some pictures in said shorts to try to illustrate to myself that actually I'm not that big anymore, I'll attach them. I apologise for the underwear! If anybody has any suggestions they will be more than welcome!

  9. The best way I found was rolling a blanket/duvet up and lying on my side with that tucked underneath my stomach. Anything that supported my stomach really helped!

    October Sleevers - Who else

Today I hit 100lb lost! Down from 240 to 140. Another 10 to go to get me into a healthy BMI range and give me a bounce range. Happy, happy, happy! How is everybody else doing?
  12. The first photo is about 2 weeks post op (I had lost quite a lot from my highest weight by then, and was feeling quite confident...that picture makes me feel so sad now). The last two photos are from today...nearly 9 months post op- down from 240lb to 145. Still around 15lb left to lose

Not quite an after picture (still want to lose another 20lb to get into a healthy bmi range, although it is a real struggle now) but this is a 'work in progress' picture. Started at 240lb, now 151. Will have to try and dig out a before picture from somewhere!

This is my little blue dress for my brother's 21st birthday this weekend. Have been feeling massive still but this picture makes me think that maybe the hard work at the gym is paying off!
