  1. Gawsh, I really feel like I'm losing my way. I am on the soft foods stage but I absolutely hate eating and I get no joy from it! I don't have any pain or complications from the surgery (sd:10/10/13) and I'm happy about that but golly I hate eating the same things over and over and I'm scared to eat many different things due to the possibility of a gain or a stall. I know for a fact that I'm not eating enough and this frustrates the heck outta me. How did you shake the "if I can't eat what I want I'd rather not eat all" blues?
  2. Wow, you look amazing! Happy and healthy!
  3. Surgery date:10/10/13 Highest weight:280 Weight date of surgery: 273 Weight currently: 252 (11/4/13) stoked!!!! Lost almost a pound a day!!

    Always hungry

You might have answered your own question. The more you work out... The more your body will require fuel. You look like you're making healthy choices. Keep up the good work
  7. Hi guys!!!! I am 3 weeks out...23lbs down and flying to a wedding in Curaçao! Whew I'm so glad I had a speedy recovery. I still feel a little tinge here and there. But other than that I am back to normal. Wish me luck on continuing to make great choices.the best thing about this 5 star hotel is the deluxe gym...I'm gonna put it to use! Bon voyage my fellow sleevies!!
  8. Congrats! You look great!
  9. Sorry I just saw your question dear. I am doing well. It's a little hard to meet my Protein and Water requirements but such is life. I get better each and every day. I lost 22 lbs and I'm on day 14 so I can't complain. I also used to love room temperature water but now I have to have it freezing cold with ice floating in it in order to tolerate it. Weird. Lol. Thanks for checking in. How are you!

8 months out on the 28th...

You look great! Woo hoo! Congrats!
  11. My only complication is that I miss food. Lol the mental battle sucks...but the procedure was a breeze. All annoyances like, gas, inability to get liquids/proteins in were all normal battles of sleepers that quickly reconciled. All and all I'm about 14 days out 22 lbs down and ready for the road ahead. Good luck to you!
