Any February 2014 Sleevers?

Hi everyone! Just over 6 months out and 76 lbs lost! Also, I had my nurse do a waist measurement a few days ago. I've lost 9 inches from my waist! There are no foods I can't tolerate, but I do feel my restriction. My weight loss had been very slow recently, but I know why. I haven't been working out as much lately. I've started a Bachelor's program and have been studying a lot. I am getting T25 this week and will be starting that 4 days a week. I had my gallbladder removed yesterday. The surgeon said that it was much worse that the ultrasound showed. Recovery has been a breeze so far and I didn't have to stay the night at the hospital. Just 9 more days until I can start T25 and I can't wait! Cwang, don't be discouraged! Lets find a way to get over this hump and get to 100 lbs lost! We can do it! -

I'm so glad someone else is experiencing these feelings and its not just me. I snack too. My surgeon encouraged fruit for snacks. I'm doing grapes and apples. I've had a few episodes of what I believe is low blood sugar. Shakiness, sweating, and just an overall weird feeling. It usually happens about 3 hours after a meal. A small snack usually resolves my problems. Thanks so much for sharing your experiences! This makes me feel so much better! -

I know how you feel. I wish my sleeve was smaller. I feel like I can tolerate too much of too many foods. It's hard work for me to stick to my small portions. My hunger has increased. My surgeon said that is due to my increased activity and seeing the personal trainer 3 days/week. -

I can tolerate just about anything. No pain unless I over eat, which I did a few times. -

I'm happy to announce that my weight loss stall has broken. Finally! I lost 3 lbs this morning and I'm officially in the 250's! I didn't change anything related to my diet, but I did start seeing my trainer again. -

I'm sorry. Typo! My surgery was 2/25. Still good and I would not be losing this much if I hadn't had surgery. Just gotta get back in my routine. Thank you for the support and encouragement! -

I've been discouraged and in a stall for 3 weeks. We were on our wedding trip and honeymoon, so I hadn't been working out like usual and eating out at restaurants. I thought when we got back I would lose a few lbs. it didn't happen. I start working out with my trainer again on Wednesday, so hopefully that helps kick me out of this funk. I love to see everyone's success stories, but I feel that I haven't lost enough is comparison. 65 lbs total. 40 since surgery 4/25. I know everyone loses at different rates. I guess I'm a slow loser, but I haven't been a loser at all fee a few weeks. I guess I haven't been much help, just know you're not alone. -

Upper right abdomen? That's most likely gall bladder pain. I have had it once. It it is most likely gall stones. The 2 most common causes are obesity and rapid weight loss (bariatric surgery). You should speak with your surgeon. This pain may also go through to your back and even right shoulder blade. Gall stones can also cause nausea, vomiting, and clay colored stools. I hope this helps! (BTW, I am an RN working on a medical/surgical floor and we see this every day.) -

Thanks SuperFab. As a nurse I tend to talk my way out of diagnoses and think, "That's not me! I'm not part of the majority!" Lol! I know that's nonsense in this case because my symptoms were straight out of a med/surg assessment book! I've not had any pain since late last night. I have an appt with my surgeon on the 17th, but I may see her at work before then. -

I have a question for everyone. Has anyone experienced gall bladder attacks or other gall bladder problems? I know that obesity and rapid weight loss (bariatric surgery) are the 2 biggest causes of cholelithiasis. WARNING!!! TMI about to happen! I have experienced clay colored, fatty diarrhea for the past 5-6 days. This had happened to me before without any other symptoms. Just about an hour ago I began to have right upper quadrant abdominal pain which I would rate as 6 out of 10. It radiated to my back and eventually to my right shoulder blade. It just subsided a few minutes ago. This is the only time I have ever had this pain. I am a nurse at the hospital where my surgeon practices, and will definitely consult her about this "attack". I'm not immediately worried since the pain subsided quickly, but I am wondering, how many people have experienced this? If you have gall stones and have had symptoms, does this sound familiar to you? I know that my symptoms are textbook, but I'm wondering if this is all in my head since I do know the symptoms and prevalence in bariatric patients. Thanks for your help and sorry about the very long post! -
