  1. Am down 43 pounds. I have NOTHING to wear to work. I cleaned out my closet and now it is full of empty hangers. I had a wedding to go to last weekend and had to wear my smallest pair of slacks that I could still pull up and down with unzipping them. I girded em up with a belt and wore a loner shirt that was also too big. On the way home I told my husband that I couldn't go home without a few shirts and at least one pair of pants. So we went shopping. It is weird to shop when you have no idea what size you are. I gravitated toward the plus sizes but knew I couldn't wear them. I saw a few things I liked but discarded them because they looked to small. Finally I tried one if the shirts I thought was too little and it was too big. Crazy. I now own 1 pair of pants, 5 shirts, 3 pairs of panties and a bra. I guess I will be doing laundry more frequently. Lol.

  3. I only told my husband first. He was worried about me and wanted me to tell my sister. My sister guilted me into telling my son. She wanted me to tell my mom which I did after surgery. Only 4 of my closest friends at work know and my best friends outside of work. If I could wave a magic wand and do do overs I wouldn't tell a single soul.

    November buddies where are you?

    I was sleeved 11/15/13 and am down 42 pounds. I eat around 800 calories a day. I am losing around a pound a week. I walk at least 7 miles a week. I keeps protein between 50 and 80 grams and keep carbs less than 50. I wish I could loose faster but I guess I am a slow looser. I am in onederland and that part is amazing. Best decision I ever made!!!

  6. I had a couple of sips one month out. I am now 4 months out and had a shot of Baileys on ice a few days ago. It was so good!!! I didn't feel drunk at all but it was very warm to hot in my tummy. Won't do it very often cause I don't need the carbs and calories.

    Thank you everyone. Not quite ready for after pics. I still have a long journey to travel. It is nice to know you all are with me.

  9. A couple of days ago I bought a size 16 pants down from a 20. And I bought my first non plus size shirt in 10 years. Happy day!!!!

    Protein water?

    I love Unjury unflavored. I add 1 scoop to 20 oz of water and add a Crystal light stick to it. It packs a protein punch of 20 grams and it taste like what ever flavor you put in it! Sometimes I add powdered non thickening fiber to it too. You have to order it online from Unjury.com. I drink one every day to help me reach my protein goal.
  11. It was great today to get on a plane, sit down and put on my seat belt without worry that I could fit in the seat and if the seat belt would buckle. Love, love, love it!!!!
  12. I am 2 months post op. I have lost 30 pounds. I eat what ever I want only in very small quantities. I log every bite I eat into myfittnesspal.com. I usually don't eat more than 700 calories a day. I usually walk at least one mile a day. I have no pains and no problems. Most everyday I eat three small meals, eat a very small snack and drink a Protein drink. I don't think I am losing as fast as most people but I am losing. My surgeon is amazing!! I didn't have a catheter, I didn't have drains of any kind no problems. I highly suggest not eating anything for 10 days preop, only drinks and Protein shakes. It makes your recovery so much easier.   13. Unjury protein is the VERY best. Get the unflavored and mix it with everything. Soup, potatoes, oatmeal, cream of wheat. My favorite is to mixed a scoop of Unjury with crystal light and water. Often I also sprinkle in the powder non thickening fiber. All of that together taste just like crystal light only. You get 20 oz of water, 20 g of protein and fiber to help you potty. You have to go to their website to order it. Best thing I ever did in sleevedom.

  15. I only eat 3 specific times a day and usually not more than 4 or 5 oz. sometimes in the evening I eat 1/2 carb master yogurt from Kroger. I also only eat 800 calories or less a day. I use myfittnesspal and log every bite I put in my mouth and I walk at least 1 mile a day. Even doing all that I average only about 2 pounds a week. I think keeping track of what you eat is the key. Grazing and sliders will get you. I also try to get between 60 and 80g of Protein and keep my carbs under 50g. I used unflavored unjury and mix it with Water and crystal light. Hope that helps.   16. I am 6 weeks out and I eat anything I want just not much of it. Chicken and fish are my friend but steak doesn't like me. My staple food is very lean homemade chili. Super high in protein and very filling. I can eat about 1/2 cup. I also use Unjury everyday to get in my protein. Blessings to you.

  18. Am so excited. I was sleeved 11/15/13. I have lost 27 pounds and today I bought a size 18 pair of jeans!!! I haven't been in the teens in years. One step closer to my goal of 10/12. I am celebrating by getting a big ol scoop of ice cream!! Just kidding!
  19. I love Unjury unflavored. I mix it in oatmeal and cottage cheese. You can't even taste it and it has 20 grms a scoop. I also add a scoop to a bottled water along with a flavor stick. I like lemon, orange and Hawaiian Punch. I hate is Isopure drinks. They leave a weird dry coating in you mouth. Unjury is one million times better.
  20. Guess I am in the 3 week stall. So frustrating! The scale has not moved in nearly a week. I am eating around 500 calories a day. How is that even possible? I am ready for skinny and I am only down 18 pounds.
  21. Am 1 week post op and have 3 more weeks of full liquids. Considering the 10 day clear liquid and now I am sick if pudding, chicken broth, cream of anything, jello, pop cycles not to mention protein shakes. Help me with suggestions, please. All I can think of is fried chicken!
  22. Well today is Sunday and day 16 for me. I feel pretty good and am down 16 pounds. I kind of expected to be down 20 but I am not discouraged. However the scale hasn't moved since Thursday. I am following my doctors plan to the letter and go see him on Tuesday so we'll see what he has to say. How are you guys doing?
  23. I am on full liquids. I can't stand the thought if another protein shake but I found Isopure iced orange and it is a life saver. However for the last couple of days I felt like I was starving. I don't go back to the doctor till December 3rd when I hope I move to purée. Tonight I broke down and ate a tablespoon of small curd cottage cheese. It was amazing and so filling. I feel better tonight than I have in days.
  24. Had my sleeve on 11/15/13 so I am 9 days out. I have some really sharp gas pain but really that is about it for pain. I don't have fever and I am drinking at least 8 cups of Fluid every day. The problem is I just have NO energy, exhaustion and always on the verge of tears. There is nothing really wrong with me. I have a wonderful husband and family. I just want to sleep and cry. Anybody else feel this way? Should I call my doctor? T

    Coffee Question.,,

    Before sleeve I drank coffee every morning. Now I have no interest in in. However I have been drinking caffeinated tea since the first day in the hospital.
