  1. I've struggled so much. I'm Dayum dure note messing this up. Lol 85% of my stomach gone? Yeah, I'm sticking with it. Lol
  2. I'm gonna try my hardest to change from my old eating patterns. From pre-op diet on. When I said goodbye to pastas and breads and potatoes and fast food and fried foods... I meant it. My nutritionist says for long-term, sustained weightloss that I need to walk away. So I am.
  3. Hi Sherry, we've been daydreaming about food. And alcohol.
  4. Remember when I was telling u about mine? It was like the first 2 or3 days. You were feeling good and I was fighting the dang headaches.
  5. Yeah. He'd freak out if I did that to him. I blame it on his age. At 22 he's still so self-absorbed. Lol
  6. What's crazy is that now that I'm detoxes of sugar, caffein and carbs I'd be leery of having them again Bc of the dang headaches. They were bad. It was such a sickening headache. But I'd have prolly had a huge steak. Lol
  7. Yeah. He finished them and THEN said "sorry I forgot u couldn't eat good food". Umm... Yeah, whatever. Jen ur a lucky ducky. Good guys are hard to find
  8. I feel bad now Bc I get to eat lean protein n veggies on my preop. I ate some shrimp and some spinach. But it's such a tiny amt I'm allowed that it just makes me want more. It's almost worse than saying I can have nothing
  9. Gross!!! He's still eating them!!! They don't seem so appetizing now
  10. I read that and literally spewed mio water all over my son's chicken wings. He yelled "shit on a biscuit!!" I've never heard that one before
  11. The ONLY sf pudding they had was chocolate, vanilla swirl. But hopefully they'll restock. You get a little ice here and everyone runs to stock up like the apocalypse is coming.
  12. Yeah. Bout to strangle him. They smell good
  13. From Domino's pizza. I told him what u had just said on the other thread n he said nope, Bc ur on pre-op diet. Otherwise he'd have shared!!!
  14. Dang girl! U need a cape. You're superwoman! I will be in for minimum 2 nights.
  15. Jen, my son just walked in with buffalo wings!!! Wth
  16. I'm in!!!! It's funny how after surgery things are gonna be so different that what we are sayin for so long. Lol
  17. Mine is Bc I have sever sleep apnea and they have to watch anything that puts me out other than the anesthesiologist. I'm just gonna have a jack n coke
  18. I just don't think about that part of it. My biggest fear is the IV. I faint. They scare me. You know what my surgeon said about that? She laughed and said "that's ok, you'll be lying down when u get it" lol. I could worry about it now, but me worrying isn't gonna do anything to change things. So I don't. I'm sure as I get closer, like the day before, I'll start to get more nervous and worry, but I'm gonna just let the excitement in for now.
  19. Awesome!! Great on the walking! Keep being a trooper and continue to keep us updated. Lots of big smiles knowing you're doing so well
  20. Surgeons are used to long surgeries. Mine is also an orthopedic surgeon and has done surgeries that have lasted many hours. I'm not worried about her being tired. I don't think you should either. They break in between. We aren't filed in like cattle to the slaughter. Plus yours may even be one that takes a noon lunch break. Some do. At first I wanted an early surgery Bc I didn't wanna dwell on the surgery for too long before it's done. But I live 3 hrs away, so if mine ends up being later on in the day I'm good with that too. You'll do great and u have us here for support.
  21. Lol I have Ativan. And Seroquel for anxiety but I never take them. I asked if I could the night before surgery and they said not within 12 hrs of go time Bc it could mess with the anesthesia. Ugh
  22. I know. Isn't it hard enough? Isn't it already a sacrifice. My labs weren't fasting labs so I was ok, but dayum
  23. You sound like my daughter. She text me that she skipped lunch and was so hungry she could snap n kill a family of 12 to raid their cabinets. Yeah.... She's a little dramatic.
