  1. Chances are the day right before your surgery is clear liquids only. As for the other day, go get some muscle milk if nothing else. That's the least I'd do. But going to GNC sounds like a great plan.
  2. Nah, you're not alone. I worried about it for a bit, but then remembered I wasn't doing this for my looks, but for my health. It'll be ok. It really will.
  3. Hahaha! I'd mainly wanna see their faces when they thought I was gonna barf in their restaurant Bc I'm a total meanie
  4. Hang in there. You have all of us here pulling for you. Be sure and keep us updated.
  5. Charlieblue, I plan on being able to change my name soon. Lol I'm so happy you're doing great and looking forward to following in your footsteps!!! April
  6. I'd totally lie if they are dicks. I'd say "I'm sick and this has anti nausea medicine in it. The alternative is throwing up. I didn't want to make your customers think the food made me sick". Just sayin
  7. You're right. No one's gonna know. But YOU'LL know. And in our prep class we were told that one reason for the pre-op, besides shrinking your liver, etc is to test your own compliance. For you to have to take a good look into yourself and see if you can be compliant with what is asked of you. To prepare you of what's to come, sure. But this is also something more. Do not cheat yourself.
  8. Tomorrow just take it one hour at a time and remember we're here rooting for you. Gnite girlie
  9. Other than my face I figure if something bothers me I'll fix it. It may take me a while to save up the money, but where there's a will, there's a way. As for my face, I'm gonna be 40 in June and I'm not that scared of looking older. As long as I'm healthy I'll be ok. Plus, a healthy glow and a smile does wonders to make you look younger.
  10. No!!! Charge it!!! Lol Are you getting lots and lots of protein and very little carbs? I found the more protein I get the less hunger I have. I'm getting at least 100g protein a day. I checked and I'm in ketosis so I'm burning fat too, which is why my scale keeps going down each day.
  11. Looked it up and it looks like it's pretty efficient and the delivery catheter is really small in diameter so I'm a happy camper.
  12. I know. It's tough. I just did the same with water. It was all that fast food talk. Gotta get my head on straight
  13. Y'all are funny. Lmao!!! I've lived in these apartments for almost 5 years. They're bad. Seriously, the pizza guys don't deliver here after dark. Drug deals, etc. so I know it'll be hard after surgery the 18th but I have sons and nephews to do any lifting. All I have to do is my packing. Are you guzzling at night too, Jencovi?
  14. She said it's removed right before I go home. I'm feeling so much better about it Bc she said there is one really deep muscle stitch that is painful and so she will give me an On-Q pump to ease that pain.
  15. When I'm in bed, I keep a bottle of water beside me. If I get a pang I sit up and chug. Lol. I swear I nap all through the day if I'm able. It's getting more difficult Bc I'm trying to move from a crap apt to an actual house march 1 so I'm packing stuff too. Pack, nap.... Pack more, nap.... Lol
  16. Wow, were we typing at the same time or what?!?!
  17. On-Q pain pump. That's what she called it. Now I'm gonna have to google it.
  18. I think so. When she said I'd have it I was like wtf is that. Lol. And then she described what it does and said "you'll like it. I promise". Lol Maybe your roomie, if you have one, is interesting. Like an old woman that used to be a flapper and knew lots of gangsters and tells you awesome stories. Hey, it could happen...
  19. That's what I'd told SJ. Sleep!!! Lots of sleep!!! Lol. I'd sleep through it if I could. You don't have much longer, girl. You're good as gold.
  20. What's funny is I'm not even hungry. It's just this demon in my mind. I am so glad I don't have cable. No commercials. I noticed at my sister's that unless it's advertising other shows/movies the commercials are about cars, insurance and more than those... Food.
  21. Wendy's. Wendy, that red headed bitch. Lol
  22. You're right, it has a specific name but I can't remember what it's called. I'm in there for 2 nights and have a 3 hr ride home so I'm hoping they remove it last. Lol
  23. Me too! Me too! Me too!! Shersun, it's you, then me, then SJ. Right in a row. And I'm like a kid about to get to wake up and see what Santa left for her!!!
  24. SPICY chicken breast sammich. Omg y'all are killing me
