  1. Try these. They are a lifesaver. Cut in half with regular beef or chicken broth Bc they are spicy.
  2. You can do this! I'm on day 10 of a 14 day pre-op. These are a godsend. Cut them in half with regular beef or chicken broth though Bc they are spicy.
  3. Sounds like you're doing very well! Congrats!! I hope I do as well as you. Keep us updated with your progress as you are able
  4. I'm the 18th and on day 10 of the pre-op diet. If I can do the pre-op diet, you can. I think I had headaches the first two (or3) days and day 8 was hard. I'd had a yogurt with too high of a sugar count and it triggered a hunger rage. I was "hangry". Hungry+angry. But I did not cheat. It's difficult, but doable. April
  5. It sucks but it's doable. My worst day was like day 8 or 9. I'd accidentally got some sugar in my system from not checking carbs and it triggered me. I wanted everything I could imagine and it was hard not to cheat, but I didn't.

Hmmm... Let my chime in. I have 3 kids. Ages 17, 19 and 22. If they were to go out and "party" I'd much rather them forgo the pills and liquor and instead use marijuana. It's safer. Period. I could lose my child over a pill OD, alcohol poisoning or even drinking n driving. But, if my kid were to smoke "too much" pot what are they gonna do? OD? No. Eat? Probably. How can you come here and post, when you, personally, have never even tried it? Oh yeah, because your children had it blown in their faces. Well, not to be morbid, but if their parents had been abusive in a different way-say being burnt with a curling Iron, would you be against curling irons? The parents were the ones abusing those children. Pot didn't make them do that. They weren't sitting there smoking pot and then all of a sudden not care about the welfare of their children and decide to abuse them. They already had that tendency and blowing it in their face was only one way to act that out.

My sister used to have the lap band. There were lots of things she couldn't eat. Apparently coconut is one of them. My aunt brought in two beautiful coconut cream pies. Lots of super sweet toasted coconut upon a cloud of perfectly browned meringue. We put one in the fridge and then placed the other pie between us on a table. I was sitting across from her and cut her and myself a huge piece each. I'm digging in making these orgasmic sounds as I'm eating. "Mmmm Mmm Mmm oh this is so good. Mmmmm"... you get the picture. I look at her plate and, poor dear, she had to miss out on enjoying the perfect deliciousness of the toasted coconut that was on top. She'd scraped hers off the top and into a pile on the side of her plate. I promptly scooped up her pile with my fork and plopped it in my mouth. It was so sweet. "Mmm Mmm Mmm", I say. "You miss out on the best parts". I swallow it down only to look up and see her with a huge smile on her face. "What is so funny" , I ask Her reply: "you just ate the coconut I'd sucked all the flavor off of and put in a pile on my plate". Moral of the story, don't steal food off a bander's plate.
  16. Yeah. I'm expecting cheerleading outfits and pompoms!!! "April, April! She's our girl! She's the best thing in the world! Go! April!!!" I'll do the same for y'all. Lmao
  17. Omg!!!! That's me too!!! That dang IV. LOL
  18. They get scared and project it wrong. Guys aren't adept at showing how they feel and project it on to other things. I'm sorry you're having to deal with it right now. Sure you're doing this for you, but you're doing it for him too. To spend a longer, happier, healthier life with him. (((Hugs)))
  19. You guys are gonna do great and we are going to be here cheering y'all on. I'm so excited and it ain't even my turn!!!! Haha
  20. Damn girl, making me google the hard words. Lmao
  21. Hey!!!! How's it going for u so far? You hanging in there?
  22. Yay!!!! I can't believe it?!?! Lmao A few more things... They asked me to bring any current meds I'm taking in a ziplock bag. Not Bc they're gonna administer em, but to double check dosages, etc. And if u were given an incentive spirometer to strengthen your lungs, take it. I'm super excited for you!!!!!
  23. No judgment here. We are never gonna encourage someone to go off the diet, but this diet is very hard. It is the hardest thing to do and things happen. They just do. But you get up, dust yourself off, then grab the bull by the horns and hold on. You'll do great
  24. Yeah. It'll be tough, but if you've come this far, you can do it!
