    General questions 6 mths out

Just saw your last question...I stopped tracking 3 months out...I decided I will start back tracking when not tracking is not working for me. Trial it for a week and see how you do.

    General questions 6 mths out

    1. I don't do protein shakes...trying to cut down on artifical sweeteners and eat more whole unprocessed foods...but if you don't have a problem with lunch meat you can do lunch meat roll-ups with cheese and eat them as a snack. That will give you an extra 20-30gm. 2. I had reflux before surgery so I have to take my prilosec at least every other day or I will get a reminder! lol 3. Didn't loose much. 4. Not a morning person anyway. I perk up after coffee.
  4. Hang in there. Probably time to switch something up. It slows down for everyone at a certain point, but if you keep your body guessing you can get it going again.

    October Sleevers - Who else

I do need to...I was going to take some pics in the gym the other night but I will do it this week for sure! Congrats!!! You have to post pics (if you haven't already that is) Yay
  11. My surgeon used a 38 french bougie. I haven't had any issues, so I guess it doesn't matter to me! lol
  12. I used to LOVE coke zero, I have been clean for over 5 months...I'm 4 months post op. It helped me that I started weaning a few months before surgery though...

  15. I have a blabbermouth coworker like that. I had to set her straight real quick. She hasn't said another word since. I don't mind telling most people, but like I told her its for ME to decide. She can feel free to share anything she wants about herself but leave me out of it!

    4-month surgiversary

I'm 3.5 months out and I've lost 51 pounds since surgery 10/2 and 61 pounds since my preop appt 9/23. I started pretty slow but my weight loss has been picking up as of late. I have to admit the 2 and 3 week stalls really test your mind and spirit. I just usually curse at the scale and wait it out! LOL! SW:263 CW: 212 GW:150-160 (I plan to go into maintenance mode between 155-160 then have plastics)
  18. I went back after 2 weeks...no issues here! Although my job is moderately sedentary...
  19. Great post. I don't think I would recommend this surgery per se either...I am open and honest and try to stress that its not a miracle surgery when people ask about it. Especially to the ones that ask you how much you have lost every.single.day.
  20. Thanks for sharing your story and I'm glad you're in the road to recovery!
  21. Hw: 284 Day of surgery: 262 (10/2) Cw: 242 Goal weight: 150-160

  23. I also had my cycle a week before surgery, then my cycle came as scheduled but was shorter and lighter! I hope that continues... I'm only 1 month out so I don't have a pattern to share...
