    Need a Reset

Lost 90lbs...over a year but now have gained 15lbs since October. Slowly. Need to focus and go back to post surgery diet of only protein. Anyone go through the same? Thx.
  3. My first few days were easy...then the hammer fell. Not only physically but emotionally as well. I've never been that depressed but it passed quickly. Hang in there and surround hours leg with supportive friends or family.

    Need a Reset

Thx all! Question: what's been your experience with drinking coffee? Yea or nay?
  5. I'm down 87 lbs since surgery last year but gained 7lbs the last two weeks. But I know why: I'm eating too many Snacks and not drinking Water. The mental stuff that made us fat before is still there. Im struggling too but I know what I need to do: destress and stick to the program. A support group isn't something I've done before but may now. I just need the reset button and to talk to people to understand.

    Gaining after a year

The key is to not spiral out of control. I still struggle this time of the year. It's about going back to getting Protein, keeping carbs low and exercising. We get out of control when we return to bad habits. Just don't be too hard on yourself. You'll fail at times but don't let it define you. Get back on track!!

    Gaining after a year

VSGAnna...The slippery slope are a few things: 1. Getting used to sleeve: once you love it, you also know what it can take: including eating bad foods you didn't touch post-op. 2. You sample foods that you shouldn't eat, don't gain wait so you eat more. Just a few...

    Gaining after a year

Thanks...reached and surpassed my goal but paranoid about going back...I never want to be where I was again. Focused on getting my water and cutting out high calorie snacks
  9. It my 5th month post op...5lbs from my goal. Only thing frustrating is the inability to get neither protein to work out hard and get my flab off. But I'm happy...in size 34 pants, used to wear 44!

    5 months, 78lbs Lost

I'm getting my 80-90g of protein a day but not getting enough calories or protein to work out and do weights. Trying to rehab my body, tighten my skin, build muscle...going to take more time.
  11. I'm 2.5 months post now and stuck at 53lbs down. I've been eating a bit more but not a ton. I'm not really discouraged but interested to hear how long stalls have lasted for everyone. Thanks!

    September sleevers

Sept 4...down 51lbs...feeling great although eating still taking getting used to.
  13. Good news as I'm now down 46 lbs since my Sept 4 surgery. Every few days I stop losing but then it picks back up. 27lbs from my goal... Eating still is an adventure and my only big problem has been constipation. Using benefiber now. Keep the faith!
  14. I'm just at 6 weeks and am eating lots of fish, deli meat, eggs, and even un-puréed turkey chili. I can eat 1 cup of chili. I'm also eating at least 1-2 Greek yogurts each day. Proteins shakes 4-4 days per week.
  15. I'm having a tough time today...still sipping slowly even on my first protein shake. I know it's early but just mentally in a bad place today...

    Fall cravings

Ricotta bake is awesome...I eat it 3x a week.
  17. Doc put me on script for Omxy. Right after. Try to get capsules

    Soft food

    Also...has lots of sugar...

    Soft food

I wouldn't. That's considered solid food and could create a problem. I'm 2 weeks and eating deli meat now but solid fruit is iffy. I'd check.

    peanut butter

As always, it's about moderation. Peanut butter has good protein too. A couple of tablespoons a week isn't bad. But clearly, lower cal, higher protein first.
  21. It's been only 2 weeks since my surgery and I had one tablespoon of non-fat frozen yogurt and all was good. It's not regular ice cream but a nice, small treat.
  22. I love the sugar free popsicles and they just put out SF Bomb Pops! At two weeks post op, it made my day!
  23. Gatorade G2 really works for me...
