I'm near sighted but since my surgery, my glasses and contacts are worthless! What the heck happened? Crazy!

Thanks all...already feeling better. Tool Took me 5 hours to drink an 8oz Protein shake...ick. Then kept in the Water and had two tablespoons of Greek yogurt. A long way to go...but a good start.

I'm having a tough time today...still sipping slowly even on my first protein shake. I know it's early but just mentally in a bad place today...

Thx...going to do a little protein shake and wait and do yogurt tomorrow. I did do chewable vitamin and it was fine.

My doc says at day 3 I can try Greek Yogurt, etc. with my small sips if Water going well, I still have some discomfort and am a little gunshy about moving to yogurt. At the same time, my body needs nutrients. How soon did you all start in yogurt? Is it really just trial and error? Thanks all!!

Question: I'm only 2 days after with the small sips of Water. Would like to hear from others who have been sleeved how you handle water intake when sweating, etc? I drink a ton of water after a workout. Thanks

My doc was realistic...just said wait until 6 months and I could have anything in small amount...including chocolate. My only food mourning is going to be around the holidays!

Yeah...I've had Popsicle fine so this time I drank really cold Water and took about 5 sips with no problem. Going to try G2 really cold as well. Btw...my eye sight has changed! Before surgery I wore glasses for near sightedness but view up close is shot! Weird.

Just got some water down along with some broth....a good sign.

Hasn't called me back yet...waiting...

Thx all...just called doc. The nausea and pain when drinking increased over night. Hopefully they can help me figure it out

My pain and swelling are worse...know Im getting dehydrated. But every time I just take a sip if Water, the pain is excruciating. Any ideas? I incorrectly thought I'd feel better by Day 3

Having real trouble drinking anything. It's only been 36 hrs but the gas I my system continues to make hydration a problem. Anyone had a similar situation an have recommendations?

Same boat. only 36 hours after and its too painful to drink even Water. trying my beat to just sept.

Had surgery this morning...was lawless. Lots of gas pain but that's it. Thanks all!!

Belize...WOW! Well said. Change like this is hard...I've mourned food too...but that's before the surgery. I go in tomorrow as well and Im nervous but know I have to do this for me and for my wife and kids. I want to see them grow older... God bless and hang in there. It's the right thing...congrats for doing the right thing!

Thanks...just mild congestion which I could play off as allergies! No stopping now!!

Yeah...I can muster enough to get through it. Thanks for the suggestions!

Anyone have an issue with that? No fever or anything, just congestion. Sucks not being able to take a decongestant!
