  1. I think a little fear is healthy. this is a HUGE change and anybody who goes into it all "la dee da" is going to have a very rude awakening.

It has been an amazingly positive thing for me' date=' but i had a defective stomach and that damn thing needed to be reduced...LOL!

When people name their sleeves and stuff like that, i don't relate to it. I still have a stomach, it is just better suited to my actual eating needs now. It used to be the stomach that 6'6" football player should have![/quote']

Love this and I feel the exact same way!!!

  2. My name is Mary i am from Tx

I'll have my surgery Sept 27th i am so very ready along with the good and the bad anybody want to buddy up!!!!

Hi Mary! I am Amy from Ohio. My surgery date is September 30 and I am excited, scared, nervous all in the same breath! However isn't this forum great for support and positive enforcement??

  3. I didn't have the same experience' date=' though I was able to find Dr Ben- Meir at Lake health ( lake west and Tripoint hospitals). I actually went through to the end at st Vincent's and had my surgery date if 08/12 when I found him and decided to switch. My new date is 10/14 and I'm so happy to have found him- he had great stats- over 4000 surgeries and never a leak! He left at the end of may and Lake Health was late in getting out his info on the Internet. He wouldn't have been able to take any patient info with him and they were not able to tell us where he went! Hope things are going well for you at CC. Did you get a date yet?[/quote']

Yes I got a date FINALLY!!! Sept 30!! Did Ben Meier say anything about the way he left???

  4. Well I have everything done. Been approved by insurance' date=' seen the dr. Now I have to wait till Oct 9th to see the nutritionist ughhh why so long?? I'm ready to start this adventure. I know it will be worth it but this is going to be the longest month ever!!! They said as soon as I see the nutritionist then they will set up surgery but wow another month to wait as you can tell I'm ready for this.[/quote']

GOT MY DATE FINALLY!!! Sept 30!!! I am scared shitless but excited at the same time!!

  5. Hey there! I just had my consult at st Vincent's this past Friday! Loved! Meeting dr Ben - Meir! He seems to be a VERY competent surgeon and his stats are awesome! I just started my 3 month diet so my surgery won't be for a few months yet but after my Consult I'm so glad I choose st Vincent's. thank you for your input on them! How are you doing after your surgey?

Unfortunately I too was working with Cc and was asked (by a friend) to at least attend one of Dr Ben-Meir informational meetings at Saw Mill Creek. My husband and I instantly fell in love with dr Ben-Meier. However I only wish I had the same experience as some of you speak of. From the very first appointment it was nothing more than a complete run around, My advocate DIane was the most unorganized, lazy, and not very truthful person I have ever met. However being so impressed with the Dr. I continued to press on. Then in May I get a call that Dr Ben-Meier left St V's and left no information as to where he was going. I have since returned to the Cleveland Clinic were all is going just as smoothly as when I got side tracked at St V's. PLEASE don't confuse St V's with Dr Ben-Meier but I feel extremely put off by the entire process of Dr Ben-Meier leaving and no word to all the patients he rudely left hanging and the staff at St Vs has much to be desired before I would ever recommend anyone going there.

  6. Okay' date=' so as I gained weight my vaj-jay gained too! Especially right above, in my pubic hair region...it's a big ol' fat pooch! So freaking disgusting and it has ,ajar impact on sex life. Now that I have a surgery date I am starting to wonder how my poor little va-jay-jay will look afterwards! I mean she wants to be pretty too!

Did anyone else have this horrible pooch? What difference did you see in your girlie parts?? Is there such thing as vag tuck?? lol... I don't want her to be droopy or saggy!! Lol...sorry, but this is really a serious concern!
