    I shouldn't complain in the fact I haven't lost that much weight so fast as other people have. cause looking at this picture I have lost lots of inches.my pants & tops are fitting me big .so if you don't see results in pounds you will in inches so keep your head up we can accomplish anything we put our mines to do.

    Today marks 7 months from my operation. This is the best thing that could have happened to me for weight loss. I started with 257lbs back in January 29th. Today I am officially 172lbs. I am extremely happy! I would recommend this surgery to anyone.

    Me three! Losing weight at any time in my life has been greatly affected by my sleep (or usually lack thereof)

    Stay away from the carbs and do what your doctor tells you to do. Move forward each day even if the scale didn't say what you wanted it to say. Measure yourself and compare the loss of inches when you aren't losing. This helps to keep the mind games at bay! Good luck!!

    Aside from the obvious Protein, Water, and exercise, one thing that I have found that works for me is getting enough sleep. If I can somehow manage to get myself at least 7 hours of sleep a night, I always seem to lose the next day, some days it is just a few ounces, but it is always a loss. When I get 5 or 6 hours of sleep, I usually do not lose anything or gain a few ounces.

    I understand what u are going thru I feel the same but I continue to eat right and exercise and I can see the inches coming off, I am trying to not get discouraged

    You just have to give your body time. With loosing weight or trying to loose weight there is always the stalls and disapointment. This is not a race so just be patient and continue doing teh right things, when it happens you will be very happy. Some of us are slow losers and some are faster. Just be patient. I know its hard to do but you can do it.

    Ick. I am majorly annoyed and need to vent. My doctor's office requires the liquid diet (for two weeks post op) to include 3 to 4 Protein Shakes a day made from 3 scoops unflavored Beneprotein and half a packet of sugar free carnation instant Breakfast. I'm at the end of day five and having trouble getting down one more disgusting drink. I spent a month trying all the Protein out there and loaded up on the ones I liked. I was thinking, no prob, I can do this! Now I have to drink this nauseating concoction instead of the Protein Drinks I like. The nurse said I couldn't switch because if something came up, they need to know exactly what I've been having. Poor me! Play the violin......
