yEAH, i just got back from the gym...I lifted 10,300 lbs today....yeah that's right... I double checked the FITLINX cause I thought that HAD to be wrong... I also did 15 mins on the treadmill... jogged for 4 mins of it... Thanks for the readings on the puppy poop issue! I'll read them all :smile: Swedish Potatoes: Boil 8- 10 large potatoes until soft. 15-20 mins. Drain, and MASH them well, then I add: 1 small cont. of Garlic'herb Cream cheese 1 small cont. of Sour Cream 1 bunch chopped Green onions a tad of butter if you need it... 2 eggs, beaten Mash again WELL, now the heat from the potatoes COOKS the eggs so don't worry about that. then I took Flavored croutons, crushed them and sprinkled the crumbs on top... now this is where you can make ahead and cover it in foil and FREEZE for up to a month... then bake it thawed for 30 -45 mins.. at 350 until warmed thru well.. Delicious!!! Mash

Wow, Janet; that looks like a HUGE haul of gifts there in that picture! MIchelle came to pick me up for the gym today... 4:30 ish... got to the YMCA and the gal on the front desk says, "we're closing at 5!" oh drat! So off to Timmies we go for a coffee and excersise our JAWS... We're going to try again in the morning 10:30ish... then I'm off to T.O. in the afternoon for my daughters HOLIDAY meal. I made Swedish Potatoes so I'll bring that... I think Bryan is cooking Prime Rib... at least I HOPE so.... Getting my HEAD ready to give up the junk .... a few days away. Bridget is being so good, did I tell you that she RINGS the door chimes when she wants out to go poop and pee??? It is just the cutest! Its warmed up a bit here today, so she's "asked" to go out 3 times in the last hour.... I think she's found 'treats' under the snow.... hummm just my guess.. Hey, does anyone out there know how to stop your pup from eating their own poop?????

Boxing Day... Peter went out and did the shopping.. Christmas is taken down now, and I'm back tot he gym in a couple of hours. Bad heartburn today....and a stiff neck Tomorrow we're off to Toronto for the KIDS family holiday dinner... that will be fun... then its New Years and back to serious FOOD JOURNALING!!! I printed it out and am keeping it in my batharoom right next to my SCALE! I have been really good about going to the gym, ah not just going but WORKING hard... last night I did 1 1/2 hours... 1 hour of all my weight machines and 30 mins HARD cardio... I am walking fast 3.4 then jogging for 1 minute every 5 minutes or so... it really gets my heart rate up... my arms are starting to look different already... its been 3 weeks with Michelle and me going.. Ha,ha,ha,... Janet is exaggerating... I only have FIVE bedrooms! and FOUR bathrooms... It sounds austentatious but it really isn't, just a Ranch style house.... really we bought it for the YARD... it was really a great yard for the DOGS... hee,hee. First week of retirement is GREAT so far... I've made a Christmas apron for a Patient of mine... she's a sweetie... Then I made and delivered a Cassarole to my DF who just lost her husband... it was good to see her.... Poor thing me heart just breaks for her... and I felt so helpless... There just isn't anything you can say to take that pain away... They are holding off on the Funeral, and having it next Tues. after Christmas.. I offered to watch her dogs for her while she's down in the city... Kids are coming in TWO days! so I gotta get the guest room cleaned up... looks like a BOMB went off in there! Hugs to my Ladies. I've been to a Psychic, twice... once when I was newly married, and once last Jan when I was in Vegas... the one in Vegas was pretty accurate and the 'reading' was quite comforting... to me at least... now 'G', had quite a different experience... she got told her 'man' was a louse! Oh my gosh, MONTANA is wide eh? just like Ontario..!!! HOpefully Phyls daughter and son get their flight to Montreal o.k. weather sucks!!:thumbup: that is a long flight from Vancouver too. I am wearing my ELVIS t.shurt today.. it is always so HOT at my MOM's residance... the old folks were funny today... Darlene is one of my dearest friends... she's always there for you... Then I went to see my Mom today.. she is doing great.. wants to buy gifts for everybody for Xmas... she is so sweet... I am blessed that she is still with me and in such great spirirts. Our Christmas will be good... no one missing. I've been drinking and wrapping Xmas gifts...its been good. then just now, the phone rang. :thumbup: An old music buddy of Peter's who FIRED him 1 1/2 years ago called to appologize and hopefully to salvage the friendship. Karla; I am sorry that your daughters are not all going to be home with you together.. that truly sucks... I only have 1 DD but i always feel dejected when she dosn't stay at home with us as long as "I"D" like... I get 2-3 days at most, then they go back to the city to spend it with DSIL's family and there CITY friends... hard to compete with that!!! LOL What exactly are the dates you are off school. Oh my word, I am frozen tonight!! Came home from work, DH poured me a glass of wine... then we decided to go out for dinner .... chinese... I got severly stuck, had to go PB in the john 2x.... then I was able to get down some Maple Walnut Icecream.... bad choice I know. But this past week I've done nothing but quell my feeling with Cookies, chocolates and JUNK at work... Now I have had at least 1 Protien shake a day... thank Goodness, or I'm sure I'd have lost all my hair by now.. SO, final day at work. No tears - hooray, all except one hugged me good bye, my Stupid boss had tears in her eyes again... ya right!!!! I'd still be there if she'd fired the stupid Biatch on the Front desk!! She is so stupid.... The computer guy comes in to my office yest. to install a NEW laptop.... only he can't get it to work! Ha,ha,ha... not my problem... so glad I could walk away from that one. Pretty much got all the Xmas shopping done, tree is up decorations are about the house... Phyl, I was laughing at Earl's antics... first the Cinnabon, then the concrete purchase! What is up with guys, do they not think WE females can have a productive thought??? Stephanie; glad to see you posting again... YEAH Karla, you got her back here where she belongs. I had to laugh when I read the part about you, me and Phyl all getting stuck in the FOOD COURT... that was a coincidence. Some really nice things happened today at work. Training my replacements (the 3 of them!) ha,ha... all really nice gals, like them all... so it was easy ... BUT my patients... they are SO sad that I am leaving... and I can't even TELL them the REAL reason I am leaving... (cause of that bitch) so I smile and say "I'm retiring to keep my hubby company"... Now last night , my BOSS wanted to have a word with me... in her office... oh no, I figure here we go again:mad2: Well, she tells me how much she is going to miss me, starts freeking CRYING and everything... then she starts to HUG me... oh crap... Morning, er Goodafternoon ladies!! Snow, blowing and ice pellets here today... But I WENT to the gym anyways... Mich and I made a date and we both did a VERY good workout today... 1 1/2 hours!!! And I'm increasing my time on the eliptical... My muscles in my legs are starting to firm up already.. so that is a BONUS. only 4 more days of work! Yippee.. I can't wait to be done. Ohhhh-fffff, my cute little puppy just had GAS on me:bored: yuk that was horrible.... RUBY, I gather that she is having a boob job too... she's kind of chesty..... but don't quote me... I am hoping they will both be VERY happy with their results... I want pictures. I've decided that after Christmas my goal is to have P.S. next winter in Costa Rica.... I MUST get my remainder weight off... no more excuses... no more B.S. job to blame the stress eating on.... STEEL CUT OATS. yes I love them too.... lots of fibre (its my friend) I make it 2/1 ratio.... 1 cup water to 1/2 cup oats.... boil the heck out of it... let it sit... will be quite thick. I add chopped apples sometimes, cinnamon, sweetner oorrr SUGARFREE pancake syrup... yum Yes, its good to be retireing, but this is the 2nd time I retired. I was an accountant for 25 yrs.... I just don't have the patience anymore.... I'd rather quilt :thumbup: If I'm careful $$$ and don't go to the casino's, I can still have my travel money.... I've got all my pay in a savings acct anyways.... DH can't get his mitts on it....heee,heee,heee,heee It's my "get out of Dodge" money.... so to speak LOL

Wow, you went all the way to S.Korea???? Where are you going to get your after care??? I was banded by SLIMBAND ( aka Toronto LapBand Centre) in July 07. I paid $16k self pay. THey do all my followups for life. Great surgeon.
