    Am I done?

Sometimes your body can also get used to your workouts. You could also maybe try switching up your routine or making it a little tougher for your body. I hit a stall at around 200lbs that lasted almost a year too, trust me it will break! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Moods during weight loss

Thank you! I know I definitely need to see my doctor about it because it's starting to get out of hand. It almost feels like I have PMS on steroids....but it just never ends!!! I'm ultra sensitive one minute, angry the next. I worry about everything, and then stress, it's really out of character for me. And nothing major has happened to alter it recently. 7. Hey! So as I'm shrinking, I'm noticing that I am so irritable and I have way less patience for the annoying people in my life. I'm normally a very calm and collected person, so this is weird for me. I've almost considered seeing a doctor for anxiety disorder until I realized it could be the changes to my body. Has anyone else experienced this post surgery? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Hanging belly fat ????

No matter what I am happy and proud of my progress. I'm healthier than ever, and continue to be everyday. But insecurities don't stop just at weight. I'm 26, single, and although I know I'll find a man who loves me regardless, I want to love myself. I
  11. Ugh! Ok, so I have between 55-60 lbs left to lose! But the way that I carried most of my weight was unfortunately all at my lower gut, I am significantly smaller as I've lost over 100 lbs. but my belly still hangs. I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced trouble reaching their goal and still having a hanging gut. I am only 5'2 and currently 181.

    Plastic Surgery

How long did it take for you to return to work after your tummy tuck? And did you have a job that requires heavy lifting or a lot of moving?
  18. I struggled with obesity my whole life, I would lose 30 lbs. just to gain 40 back. Quite frankly as a kid/teenager I did not care about my health. I cared about my appearance but it seemed "too hard" to make those changes. It was finally when my doctor told me I was becoming a pre diabetic that it all fell into place. 22 years old, 5'2" and 287 lbs. I went to the first meeting that I could. I remember that the 9 months my insurance required me to wait for the surgery seemed like forever. But I lost 50 pounds pre-op! Immediately after my surgery I out about 30 pounds and then kept hitting stalls. I got so depressed, for a year I lost nothing! I worked 7 days a week, and ate what was convenient vs. what was healthy, and I didn't make the time to workout. I never over ate or gained, thank goodness, but it was a terrible feeling having such a big dream and finding yourself at a halt. Finally once again, something in my life clicked for me, I have my healthy mindset back! I track my calories and exercises everyday, and don't feel like I'm suffering for anything. I now weigh 185, my ultimate goal is to be in the 120-130 range. It's so crazy how at one point that goal seemed so impossible and now it doesn't seem so far away at all. Even during my tough year I always said that the sleeve was the best decision I ever made and it truly was!

    Wish I hadn't Told Some...

So many people think this surgery is the easy way out. I view it simply as just a permanent tool....We still have to put in hours at the gym, and watch the foods that We put in our mouths, just like a person who may not have battled the same problems. Sadly, I had a friend like that too. And it took me a while to realize that it wasn't so much the surgery she was upset about but the fact that I was bettering my life in general.. She was the type of friend of who enjoyed when she was on top while others around her weren't doing as well. Nobody else could be successful. If that sounds like your friend, then I have to say you might be much better off!
