    who drinks soda occasionally?

I do not eat breads and limit pasta. . If I do want bread, I stick to whole wheat tortillas and flat bread. .but that is only about once a week. .

    who drinks soda occasionally?

I am a truck driver. ..I run team with my husband. ..our truck runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week. ..we live in our truck . .so my eating habits vary. . I stick to the 4 oz rule.. my meals are protein/vegetable. . My exercise is walking, getting in and out of truck or trailer. Resistance bands, and a bike. If I want something I eat it, but limit the amount I eat. Its hard. .because you see so many billboards with food. Luckly, I don't desire the foods I used to abuse. We do cook in our truck, so meals can be healthy. ...

    who drinks soda occasionally?

I drink soda. ..sips at a time. . It now takes me a week to drink 20oz. of soda. ..I was sleeved on 07/31/13 and lost 105lbs. ..so apparently it does not stretch your sleeve. Good luck.
  4. I Would have to agree. . Now is the time to allow yourself to re-program from the bad habits that made us over weight. Your not going to go into surgery and wake up @ 120 pounds. However, you have been given a constant support tool. As of to date from my 07/31/13 sleeve. I am down to 320 from 425. I am still learning, but happy
  5. Omg.. you look so good! I still worry if I doing it right. ..I don't have time to go to a gym and my eating schedule is crazy. ..I am a truck driver. .I drive team with my husband. . and our truck runs 24 hours a day. ..we have to eat going down the road and when it comes to exercise, walking in rest areas, shippers and in and around the truck stops. ..out here I feel alone. ..however, seeing your success, keeps me on track. You look amazing! Congrats on your success.
  6. I know what you mean. ..I can do so much more now around my semi truck. .I don't have to rely on my husband as much anymore. I am beginning to love life again.
  7. Oops..at my first month my weight was 365 not 395...
  8. Hi, I was sleeved on 07/31/13.. I weighed in day of surgery at 425lbs...my first month post-op visit I was down to 395lbs.

    One week post op!

Congrats on your surgery! I know what mean about chewing on something. I am able to get soft foods down, but only a small bite. .I feel my stomach digest and it bugs me. My husband still has a hard time understanding that I can only eat extra small amounts, but remains my biggest supporter. It is still a learning experience, but I wouldn't change a thing. I wish you the best of luck! I know you will feel so good and so happy! :-)

    One week post op!

Congrats! I know what you mean. ..I can see the weight loss in my legs, face, and in my shoulders. . I carried a lot of my weight in my stomach. However, what I do see makes me feel more human... in fact since surgery and the weight loss, I feel like I am more accepted out in public, which makes me so happy!

  13. Hello, my name is Melissa. I had my gastric sleeve surgery on July 31, 2013. I started out at 425.. my current weight is 365. I have been able to incorporate different foods. I have no appetite and have to remind myself to eat. I worry if I am doing it. I would like to find a buddy or mentor because a lot of times I am ny myself on this journey.
