Was out at stores for almost 4 hours and the gas in my shoulder is still there, what the hell. I bought firming cream, compression wraps and checked a number of stores for the Quest Bars. Looks like GNC really is the only place that has them.

I just had surgery a week ago and i am so scared about my DDD/F's deflating. People in the chat room say "deflated airbags" or "tube sock with an egg in it".. I am terrified.

Chicken with mayo, cauliflower, italian mrs dash, pepper and onion powder. I scooped it all into a small container and am eating the stuff stuck to the inside of the magic bullet, lol My stomach is making all sorts of noises, and i'm not sure how much to eat..

I was also told no protein or vitamins for a week. I'm actually calling the Nut today and double checking everything. Puree is 2 days away! lol

When am i able to use my stomach muscles without almost crying? I cannot get in bed or sleep properly. Don't even get me started with the coughing..i'm terrified of when ill have to sneeze.

Milk Of Magnesia and clear that day for hanging out around the house. I didn't have any cramping with it, it just hit me that i had to go RIGHT NOW. Don't take the max dose either, lol.

You're okay! He's done the surgery so much he doesn't even use drains. Where are you having the surgery done?

I thought i had hurt myself getting into bed yesterday. That numb spot on my stomach by the large incision felt like it balled into a fist. I really thought the worst, broke out in a sweat. Apparently it moved something because i had my first poop 8 hrs later, lol.

I just had him do my surgery at Saint Barnabas, on the 14th. His office staff are horrible, he is very good though. Make copies of all the paperwork you fax to his staff, they lost 3 of the same documents on me. His surgical team is very kind and i was freaking out, they talked to me very calmly and told me i was going to be okay. I had a panic attack because it was my first surgery, and they completely understood.

More embarrassing than the male nurse giving me a bedpan. I couldn't wipe properly. The pain on my left side was killing me, i sat there for 10 minutes trying until i said "screw this" and grabbed the shower hose. Worst poop ever.

Four days post op for me. It's taken me this long to fart, and the pain isn't as bad. The left side is where the biggest incision is so that's going to hurt more. Standing straight is hard, i'm starting to feel it more across my abdomen.

That's weird because i asked my baratric leader person in the hospital and she said it was okay, lol. Docs really need to get together and set standards.

I was sleeved on the 14th and i passed gas for the first time today. I'm not sure if the Gas X helped but i'm using it. I also sleep on about 5 pillows, propped up. I wake up every few hours but i don't want to hurt myself. I've had to use a cane to get out of bed and use the toilet.(had it from a previous injury) I'm getting better and pushing through the pain. I can basically get out of bed without the cane now. Just give it time. Take your meds, take gas x like crazy, walk as much as you can tolerate. Get enough fluids. Every day is a new step. I was terrified of all this. I still am kind of scared with the pain, but it really has gotten better with time, and it hasn't been that long.

I planned to get this. (Uncensored of course, lol) But now...eh..i still want to get it, even if i end up not as fat, lol.

I had the hiatel hernia, it was very mild though. I had an acidy taste in the back of my throat when i didn't eat for hours. No heart burn. I'm just wondering about all these meds.

I just filled this script out. I'm 4 days out. 300ml Maalox 100ml 2% viscous lidocaine 100ml Donnatal All mixed together, i take 50ml every 8 hours. It's numbed my lips and throat and my throat feels full. I'm kind of afraid to drink anything now because i can't really tell if i'm full. It's def a weird feeling. (I don't know if that spelling is correct, docs handwriting is...well, you know.)

Haha, i always have wipes, even in my purse.

Thanks everyone. I'm just overwhelmed with new bodily sensations and afraid of every little pain. It's my first surgery, lol.

Waking up at 2am and trying to get out of bed is painful as hell. I don't have a normal bed with a frame that's all purdy. It's a bed and box spring. No headboard or nothing. I kinda miss the remote for the bed, it would help me stretch and move the gas around. Now i have 6 pillows propping me up, lol. One of those pillows is used as a cat guard. They've been trying to lay on me.
