Milk Of Magnesia and clear that day for hanging out around the house. I didn't have any cramping with it, it just hit me that i had to go RIGHT NOW.

Don't take the max dose either, lol.

There have been lots of posts regarding constipation. I recommend Miralax. It works great.

Sorry to hear this - I read today on a successful sleever's blog that she would eat one of those little red boxes of Sunmaid raisins each day to "keep things regular." No idea if that will help, but thought I would mention it.

I backed off on my iron supplement ... and that did it! I am post menopause and the 65 milligram dose was just too much for me. I take half a tablet and have returned to normal. But first, I tried adding more raw fruits and veggies, exercise, even a stool softener. Also, nutritionist said to not go over 70 grams of protein - which can constipate you. Hope that helps :)
