  1. And try not to freak out when you add calories and you see a slight weight gain. Takes your body a little while to realize its not starving. I went thru this and was so discouraged. I was stuck for 2 weeks with a 2 pound gain. I did what my NUT said and it starting coming off. We are all different and have different nutritional needs at times.
  2. Pinky green, how much did you weigh when you had your surgery? You look great.
  3. The first week is the worst. It does get better. Get plenty of rest and try to get your fluids in. I'm 2.5 months out and feel better than I have in several years. You can do it.
  4. Happy birthday guys! You are both an inspiration. Enjoy your new lease on life!
  5. Congrats! You've come a long way, baby:)
  6. Are you getting enough water, calories and protein?
  7. That's funny. I just placed an order from Amazon. Great minds
  8. Where can I find it?
  9. Turkey sausage is terrific!
  10. I crave salty chips too. Want the crunch. I'm 3 months out. Never really cared for chips before but had a real sweet tooth. Now I dont really crave sweets. Thought that would never happen.
  11. My doc told me to start taking vitamins 2 weeks out, but when I came home, my pain meds and regular meds were pills. Dr said if I could swallow them before, I could swallow them after surgery. I was scared they would get stuck, but he was rit.
  12. Somebody post a pic of their stomach. I am really curious about what it looks like and how much they take out.
  13. I'm at 359. I'm shooting for 349.
  14. Are you getting enough protein and water? Enough calories?
  15. I get 90 g of protein in protein drinks. With food, I usually average around 130+.
  16. Yikes. Did your mom have 1 or did she do the series of 3? Ive read some people say it was t bad at all and others are like you. I've been considering them, but ouch. I don't know how heavy you are but do you think the fat around the knee makes it worse? My doc said it might be better after I lost some more weight, but I've reached my insurance out of pocket and I'm sure they are expensive. How long did the relief last for your mom?
  17. Buff, I know it's hard not to be down. I went thru a 2 week stall a couple weeks ago which finally broke. Are you getting enough water, protein and calories?
  18. Wondering if anybody has had the sleeve and been on steroids long term? Wonder if this slows down weight loss.
  19. NMJG, I started out at 410, so that is why I'm a little faster
  20. I do still feel hunger pains but they're not nearly intense as before surgery. Sometimes for me it is head hunger.
  21. Is everybody including their pre op diet loss when you are listing weight loss or just after surgery? I have lost 50. I was sleeved 8/8. This includes 18 pounds from my month of pre op diet.
