Falling asleep at a stop light with my boys in the back seat because of sleep apnea.
No energy to play with the boys.

I was sleeved July 1st and I'm down 46 lbs. Lately I've been having a hard time sleeping because of hip and low back pain. I keep wondering if it has or Constipation. My body is changing and adjusting. Just wondering if its just me.

Most meals during training where at the cafeteria. Only a few times did we have the hot and ready. I was on heavy end when I went down range to train and the drill sergeants made sure I ate the Protein first to lose weight faster. So meals should be ok if you can handle only three a day. Water on the other hand was tough. They would make us drink (chug) a whole canteen at a time. That was not very often but I think would be hard to do now. I was also in the harder 16 weeks of boot camp in the Army. We were punched a little harder then normal. I ended up hurting my back and not finishing. Tough after butting so much work to get in. I lost 50 pounds back when I was younger just to join.

Here's a little secret. You can upgrade to first class for $50 on most airlines. You just have to wait until 24 hrs before the flight. That's what my wife in I did when we flew home from TJ after my surgery. That was I nice ride home.

Hi Folks,
Sleeved July 1st in Mexico. I' down 38 lbs with no stall yet. Week 3 was very slow. I can eat most things but I can't get enough Water in I'm only getting 36 oz in a day. I think I need to drink larger sips. Protein is about 75 g every day. I can see the biggest difference in my face. I'm sleeping a whole lot better now. I hardly snore now. Before I could fall asleep at a stop light or if I sat down on a couch. I had to take daily naps. Now I have the energy for a full day!
My MFP username is linarestribe.

Active recovery has been my best friend through all of my meet prep and such' date=' but right now, no meet prep and just building, I rely on a good nights sleep, glutamine, melatonin and contrast showers.[/quote']I'm sure this is lame but what are contrast showers?

Hi folks,
Got sleeved July 1st. Down 37 lbs. First week is hard but it gets better. I had my two smallest incisions open up after I removed the stitches. This has been the hardest part. Just made the healing time longer which means no swimming and I've really been looking forward to that. Now one is infected and I'm on antibiotics. Still with all that I'm feeling good, on soft foods and losing weight.

One of the best lessons my Sleevilla has taught me to date.

I did this too. The other day I was eating my one egg, ham and cheese omelette and I started to eat the outside edge that had no fillings to save the rest for last. A few bites in I realized I might not finish this and started eating it the other way around.
Great observation.
