    Large band VS Small Band

This looks really interesting, thanks. I've been in contact with a homeopath and she recommended that I start colosynthis (I'm not really sure what this is) and then I am also going to start something called kali carb. Tomorrow I'm getting a massage to try to speed along the process. This virus has been hanging around for over 6 weeks!

    Large band VS Small Band

Lyndsey, Thanks for the reply. I was taking Advil, but have now switched to Tylenol. I've been battling a flu-like virus since before my surgery and it just doesn't seem to want to go away.

    Large band VS Small Band

Hi, I just had my first fill. I had 1cc and the dr. made some reference to my having the larger band, I think. I have been having trouble getting anything down, even aspirin. I've also had a lot of burping. Do you know if this eases, or is this the way it is. I'm trying really hard to eat small bites and go slowly. Today I had water come back up. This is not fun. Any advice?Sandy
  7. Hi, I enjoyed reading these daily intakes. I have a few questions. I noticed that most were under 1,000 calories. Is that typical? I'm not sure I could keep up my energy with so little. I am newly banded and realize I won't be eating real food for awhile but I want to be mentally prepared. Sandy

    newly banded!

Hi KT. Thanks for the reply. I'm seeing my dr. tomorrow for the first post-op. I have a feeling he will put me on mushies. I had split pea soup today and it went down really well. I even took my vitamins, which are in capsule form and they went down really well. I'm thinking that my band must be very loose. Sandy

    newly banded!

Today is day six for me. Tomorrow I see the dr. for the post-op appt. I'm hoping he puts me on soft food. I cheated a bit and began eating cottage cheese last night. It went down fine. I am beginning to feel more energetic. A week before my surgery I came down with a viral bug that hit all of a sudden. I "forgot" to tell my dr. because I didnt' want to be canceled. I guess my body is a bit overwhelmed by everything that is going on, hence the exhaustion. Today I am feeling a bit more like myself so I think things are looking up. Sandy

I am so with you on the not feeling energetic. I feel sooooo tired and limp. This is day 5. Did you have any drawbacks from having creamed soups so early? I think my dr. plans for me to start mushies this Wed. It seems a lot earlier than what I've been reading, but I'm not going to complain. Sandy

I think I will be going off liquids this Wednesday. Can I ask why you are on liguids for so long? Sandy

    newly banded!

Hi, I was just banded on June 20th. I'm feeling fairly well. The liquid diet is not very satisfying but I'm making it. I am feeling tired and sluggish. Anyone else? Sandy
