Yesterday was my 1 YR surgiversary!!! I can not believe it has been a year already!!! I also had my 1 yr follow up yesterday & all my blood work came back normal! No more diabetic meds, no more cholesterol meds! I am down 116 lbs SW: 321 lbs weighed in yesterday @ 205 lbs! Congratulations to all of you celebrating this month you all have done fantastic!!! I have not been able to get my progress pics done yet as my dad is very ill & in the hospital but I am hoping to be able to post them in the next day or two! Tjere is so much more I want to write but just dont have the time right now as I have to help him eat but just wanted to take a moment to say Hi to everyone & to congratulate each & every one of you!!!!

These are people who dont know you or even have a clue as to what u have been thru??? Then God is sending those people to you for whatever reason.... If they know nothing about you or your medical history & are saying those things then they can feel a presence around you. It may not necessarily mean your more special then anyone else but can simply mean that your job, your purpose here is not done & these people can sense that from you. Dont let it freak u out but take comfort in it!!! & just so you know younare making a difference in the world as you reach out to so many here on this forum with your medical setbacks & also your victories!!! I am sure you have helped so many more people on here then you may ever know so next time just simply tell them thank you & be happy to know that your angels are watching over you!!! I hope this helps you to loom at it in a slightly different way!!!

There is this stuff called uni-solve... I use it on my dad alot to get tape & stuff off of him for a wound I take care of on him... it is great & works wonders on the tape & gunk...

Your title & the first post said nothing other then the fact you had a viral chest infection & vomiting so how dare you be so rude to someone who was polite enough to take the time to try to answer in a helpful manner. Next time you should make sure all your info is correct. Being rude like that to people who are not here to be your doctors but to offer help & support is completely inexcusable. It is a sure way to make sure that the next time you write a post noone will take the time to answer. If you do not put all the info up in the beginning, dont expect complete strangers to read your mind & know that what you wrote is not what is the actual culprit.

Your journey has been filled with alotnof hardships but yet you have rolled with the punches in a state of grace that simply amazes me! I dont think I would be able to be in such good spirits as you are. You are simply amazing!!! I am still praying for you & a speedy recovery as you do not deserve to be going through more complications. You look absolutely stunning & you have a beautiful smile! Keep your head high as you have been & may you be blessed with a future filled with wonderful memories & be able to put all of these hardships behind you once & for all!!! Dear RJ, I hope you are doing much better now & I am praying for you! I just saw this & am wondering how everything is going for you now? Did they get the leak fixed & how is your healing process going??? I am so sorry you had to go through all of that & I hope you have a speedy recovery!!!

Congratulations on your awesome success!!! I know Dr. Cepeda very well but it was before he was a bariatric surgeon. He is the one who had to amputate my daddys leg back in 2008 when he was still a vascular surgeon & he did such a perfect job on my daddy!!! He really is such a wonderful surgeon no matter what type of surgery he is performing! He also has great bedside manners & truly cares abt his patients & their well being!!!

I also can not drink plain water anymore & have to add crystal light to it in order to get my fluids in for the day. Plain water for whatever reason seems to hit my stomach like a rock & makes me uncomfortable for a little while afterwards. If I add the crystal light it goes down so much easier & it don't cause an upset in my belly.

I to was going to use I believe it was Anthony as well. I was going to the office in goshen but he flat out lied & said my only options were the lap-band or RNY & that he felt it was best for me to get the lap-band which I knew for 100% I did not want. Then his therapist doesnt acceot insurnace & I had to pay $100 to see herb& she wouldn't clear me but when I went thru Crystal Run with Dr. Judd everything went so smoothly!!! Dr. Pucci's office also refused to send over copies of the results of all my blood work & any tests I had already had done & so I had to redo some of the requirements again but not to many. I am glad that you also had a good experience with him & that you are doing very well! He was always polite when I was in the office & I have met others who have used him & loved their experience but I am not downing him just stating my personal experience with his office. I just didn't like how I was lied to & when I found a doctor who was willing to do the sleeve & also finding out that yes my insurance did indeed cover the sleeve I was very annoyed about being lied to.
