I really don't want to sound cold or heartless, but ... What are you complaining about ? You LOST 21 lbs In 4 weeks !!! How is that not great !? Especially when you just come through a major surgery and your body is still healing. If you do that again next month and the month after, that is 60 lbs by Christmas. A loss Is a loss, Celebrate it !!

I'm so embarrassed by my before pics and I'm not even half way yet, but thought I'd be brave, and share where I'm at. I'm 5'6, HW 230, CW 195 so 35 lbs down.
Went to see my PCP. The whole office gets excited when one of us has an appt because we usually accompany each other, and they're DYING to see our weight loss.
The doc said my husband and I had already had more success than some of her sleeved patients EVER see. That was a sobering thought and should scare us all into being diligent.
She congratulated us on being so proactive about it and said that our focus on health and activity was good because the people who put it back on are invariably focused on a short-term goal like fitting into a dress or going to a reunion.
She ordered me to stop obsessing, stop being as type A as I was, and to cut myself some slack. So I will try And my thyroid meds were reduced for the second time since surgery. Yay!
Ok I've blabbed long enough to delay posting my picture but here it goes.

Isn't it funny - you knew you were losing weight but sometimes it takes a couple of photos to bring the reality home. You look like two different people - fantastic - congratulations !!

Love it! I love to see the face pictures because everyone's eyes and smiles are so much bigger. They are finally the standout features, not squished behind the cheeks! You look great!

- I know !! I really missed seeing you too !! - I'm so sorry that I wasn't there as support as well like I said i would be. But you sound really well !! - it must feel so strange to be having to think on what you can eat or drink right now, but you know in a few days it will be second nature to you. I bet you're not even hungry are you !! I'm hoping to book for November. That really stinks Leslie Im sure even more than some of the lovely treats that have been discussed on this topic (hilarious BTW). With all of the emotional buildup to surgery day, I know it is devastating for it not to have happened the way you wanted. Keep your chin up and reschedule with a backup plan for your pet. Pick a cool date that has some significance in your life. Doing the whole preop diet only got you even closer to your goal weight and will help with your recovery!
