  11. Glad to see others feel this way also. I have 3 little boys and this is also my biggest fear with the surgery. But then it hits me when i see others said, how much living am I doing without the surgery? I want to be able to do all the things with my kids that I can't do with them know because of my weight. I see their disappointment when I can't do things with them like run outside and ride bikes with them. I want/need better for them and myself. We can do this!!

  14. Congratulations! Wishing you much luck and happiness with your sleeve.
  15. Thanks for all the feedback. I really appreciate it. I am on the fence to proceed with the surgery as the Dr advised me that after I am sleeved, it may resolve itself but if the Gerd issue continues, worse case would be a revision to a Bypass. I Do not want a bypass and was hoping to see if others improved after the sleeve. Thanks again!
  16. My surgeon informed that my EGD Biopsy confirmed I have acid reflux and a small hernial hernia that she will repair during my sleeve procedure. My question is for those who had acid reflux/GERD prior to surgery, has it improved or gotten worse after the procedure? Thank you for your feedback.
  17. My surgeon called me in to review my EGD results and informed me I had irritation in both my stomach and esophagus and that her preliminary findings indicated Barret's but the pathology report showed that it is reflux and would require life long meds to great. Ok no big deal but then she advised me that worse case scenario, if I proceeded with the Sleeve and the condition worsened over time (at any time) they would have to revise my sleeve to a bypass! I am very nervous and def don't want a bypass. Just looking to see if anyone else has had this happen and how it has worked out for them. I am due to have surgery on 9/25 and am on the fence about this. Any input about your experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
