  6. Hello.. I'm not sure if I'm reading an old email since you have the surgery date listed as 5/23. But just incase it's not, I was approved in 3 weeks. It's true that Cigna denials usually takes place within the first 14 days.
  7. Hey! I just read your email about the 6 month program, etc. You are on the right track to getting approved! Looks like you have all your ducks in a row. The Referral letter, Psy Eval, nutritionist..Have you attended a Lap Band Seminar? That maybe the only minor thing you will need to do! I will be in prayer for you... Enjoy your vacation!

    Exercise

    Hello Lyn..surgery went great and I'm doing well. I took 1 week off and was back in the gym the following Monday. I'm loving it! I've lost 12 lbs so far. I was amazed at how well I felt 3 days after surgery. Besides the gas and a little soreness I really felt great! By Friday of that same week I knew I would be back in the gym on Monday. I hope all is going well for you too! Let me know!
  9. what were some of the foods during your full liquid diet that you stayed away from? I found that the cream of ...soups actually make it harder for me to loose so I removed them from my diet altogether. I'm now on water, crystal light juice, sugar free jello and low carb yogurt and the Atkins shakes with protein powder. Any other suggestions of what I can add or should I just stick with these items to get the weight flowing. I've lost 10 lbs so far and I was banded July 2. Only lost 1 lbs this week, a little disappointing so I removed the cream of soups..

    Shrinking Violets -- April 07 Bandsters

    Hey Shinking..Thanks for the advice regardng the gas. I have been walking around the house and outside a little as well today. The Gas X strips really helps and also the Maalox. Today is better than yesterday! Can't wait to get on a roll and get back in the gym next week. I'll take my time on the treadmill but it will feel good to be back! Thanks again!
