That was me too and all I can say is it was mind over matter for me and it got better as each day came and was way better on day 4 good luck you can do this!!

Got my surgery date today August 12th!!!! Pending insurance lol but I'm so happy to have a date now!

On Friday I got a call from my surgeons office to schedule my pre-op appointment (yay!) She told me that I need to start having protein shakes every meal first day was fine second we went to a water park a little harder but OK. Today my in-laws came into town and my husband wanted to take them out to eat this has been so hard and emotional I hadn't realized how much I love and miss food. Thanks for listening I just needed to vent.

My paperwork was submitted to insurance yesterday and my surgeons office called to schedule my pre-op before I'm even approved is this normal?

I totally know how you feel! I always see myself in my head as I used to be back in highschool and before kids then I see a picture of myself or glance in the mirror and wonder who that person is and I'm horrified. But we are both doing the best thing possible and soon we will see pictures of ourselves and smile at how healthy we look!!

So I was able to get my EGD results online and it looks like I have diaphragmatic hernia and gastritis duodenitis. I wish it wasn't after hours cause I need to know what all this means and if it hurts my chances for the sleeve surgery.

All my surgeons office is waiting for is one more report to come in then they are sending it in to the insurance company. I just want to know already I have a lot of things hanging in the air right now as I'm waiting to find out when surgery will be. Last year I went back to college and I'm not sure if I should hold off on this semester or not ugh no knowing sucks

I was sitting here reading some posts and this question popped into my head. After you have the surgery do you stay the night in the hospital? If so, how many days?
