  1. in the last year and half i've put on 13 lbs. i call them happy lbs. but now im trying to get back on the fitness wagon...why the hell is it so hard?!

      I find that when I fall off the fitness wagon, the easiest way for me to get back on is to set a fitness goal, like completing Couch to 5K or Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred or some other workout DVD series. Currently my fitness goal is training for a half marathon on April 24th! By having a goal that I am working toward completing, rather than just mindlessly going to the gym 3-4 times a week, I stay motivated.

      Happy pounds.....that made me laugh. Thanks. Fitness......it's all about simply getting started. It doesn't have to be a big deal.....just wake up one morning an lace on a pair of comfortable sneakers and head outside for a walk. Let it start there and see where it will lead. A daily walk can be wonderful.....add some music and then something magical happens.....you'll be hooked in no time.
