  1. I was banded in Calgary. Dr Phillip Mitchell. Love my band and I love Dr Mitchell. He is an excellent surgeon. And a nice man to boot!
  2. I was banded in Calgary Alberta. Dr P. Mitchell.
  3. I go to my Chiro every 2 weeks, there is no reason why you can't go. What is your concern about going, is it because you lay stomach down?
  4. I take a large Vitamin each day , no problem. I would not worry about it after the first week or two. But, yes the first week or 2 you should crush your pills. but after that no problems.
  5. Hello: Calgary, Alberta Canada
  6. Peanut Butter is great, I make a slice of Full Grain toast (very toasted) with peanut butter, make a great breakfast.
  7. I live in Calgary, Alberta , Canada. Good to be Canadian eh!
  8. Hi: I live in Canada, and I was given Popcicles and Jello in the Hospital. So, I'm sure it would be fine to have these. But ensure you don't have that creme Soups etc until you have healed. You don't want to take the chance of damaging your band.........it's a risk that I'm sure no one would like to take.............becareful!
  9. Hi: I take a few pills every day. I too can not crush them due to the horrible taste. I cut my pills up with a huge knife . I quarter them, this allows them to go down pretty good. I have tried to crush them into applesauce, but the taste is still horrible.
  10. Toasted and crust removed is the way to go. Soft Bread will stick and cause discomfort. I really like a whole wheat pita, that is something that seems to go in smooth. Chew is well.
  11. Well consider yourself lucky that you can have some sort of food. I was on a 2 week Opti fast diet. NOTHING ELSE but Water. You can do it, I thought I was going to cheat also, but everytime I would think about it, I put a picture of myself infront of me when I was 18 and slim. No fear - it's only 2 weeks - then you will be so pround of your self.
  12. Sorry to get off topic of swimming - but I love to sleep on my stomach. I had my surgery May 18th, just wondering if anyone has attempted laying on their stomachs. thanks.
