I haven't lost a ton of weight, but I'm almost to 50 pounds gone. About two months ago I started cupping sessions with my massage therapist. It has greatly reduced the appearance of cellulite, my skin is so much smoother. When he runs the cup over the areas that used to have a lot of cellulite, it's noticeably not as lumpy.

You may also try chicken breast in the crock pot with chicken stock. Cover the chicken with stock and cook on med for 6 hours. It's so tender and juicy, I shred it and use it a million different ways.

Like a couple others that commented, my sleeve signals me with a hiccup when I'm full. I have learned to never second guess the hiccup, even one more bite will surely be regretted. -

I had the NovaSure procedure done in May of 2012. After the ablation I had immediate relief from painful periods and haven't had a period since then. I was sleeved July 2013 and in the last month have started having slight bleeding and cramping. Basically, I'm getting my period again. Anyone have a similar experience or have any idea why this is happening?

Thanks for your responses. I knew I could get periods after the NovaSure procedure but thought it was strange that I didn't for over a year and then started to only after I was sleeved.

Last night I downed three Oreos from the mini bar in my hotel room. Hey, it was either that or m&ms! Or the copious amounts of liquor, wine and beer....at only 2.5 months out I was afraid of the alcohol. -

I'm 5'6" with a surgery weight of 235, I haven't weighed in 10 days but at that time I was 204. Surgery was July 29th -
Has anyone ever tried mixing the Jello powder with Protein powder? I've tried mixing Protein Powder in with the jello as I make it but don't care much for it. Just thought I could blend it in with my shake and add some flavor.

I started using a straw at about three weeks. I find I can sip and get less air with the straw. My surgeon was concerned that using straws will cause air and gas issues. Since I don't have that problem there isn't a concern using a straw. I recommend following your surgeons guidelines until you can talk with him or her about it.

I'm a little confused by your post ladebugg. If you cancelled your surgery because your husband and son weren't ready to change their habits and that would make unhappy, isn't that still the case whether you lose weight with traditional dieting or the sleeve? -
I started taking it a few weeks ago. My NUT said anything over 1000mg would just get peed out.
