Now 12 days out doing really well. beginning weight 325 now 290 that includes pre op diet went back to work at 1 week post op. have to take Pepcid daily. Plus my vits. I'd do it again a lot sooner knowing what I know now

your a1c need to be < 8 for surgery , it takes about 3 months to change your a1c once you start your diet , so if your sugar is 200 and you need it to be 150 it will take 3 mo to get your a1c to equal 150 blood sugar

THANKS FOR YOUR COMENTS , I USED READY 4 CHANGE WITH ALMA,IRENE,EDWARDO AND DR FERNANDO GARCIA , AND YOUR RIGHT ABOUT THE LEAK TEST NOT TELLING US I KNEW ONLY BY BEING IN THE MEDICAL FIELD, THE ONLY WAIT I HAD WAS CHECKING INTO THE MARRIOTT WE ARRIVED AT 1100 AM HOTEL CHECKIN WAS 3PM, THEN RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL AT 1100 AM AND HOTEL CHECKIN NOT TELL 3 PM SO THAT WAS AN ISSUE AND I VISITED WITH THE PEOPLE WITH READY 4 CHANGE MAYBE THE WILL CHANGE THAT, HOPE YOUOR WEIGHT LOSS GOES GREAT AND I'LL SEND YOU THOSE POST OP INST AFTER LUNCH

Anyone feel that the days following surgery seam just to easy? I had surgery on the 5 th and I'm still waiting for the hammer to drop.. No nausea, no problem drinking . Walking well. I have a very minor feeling of acid in my stomach but that it. Just waiting for the bad days.
