Glad to know others are so open and have good responses also...this is by no means.the easy way out even my surgeon said it was the hardest way out...people dont realize what you go through only you. But im glad ive been really open about mine and anyone that thinks negatively about it really doesnt care about me or my health and shouldnt be a part of my life if they think that way is how I see it.

Ive been very open about my surgery and havent had anyone say anything negatively to me in any way! everyone in my life has seemed to be really supportive. And happy for me, anyone else open and feel good about it? I feel no shame or regrets or any doubt in my mind that this is what I want to do, and that im doing this for me.

Mine has always been regular but apparently no ovulation or my eggs dont stick bc of high fasting blood sugars...im praying this will help my infertility.considering that is the main factor for having vsg.

So encouraging. I also have pcos and having surgery to hopefully help with my infertility.

Received my approval today. All set and ready for oct 7th.. What are some things ill need to bring to the hospital?

They are supposed to be faxing me a letter today so pins and needles til then!

I am! Im on the phone with them now and this man says he doesnt see an approval letter, but he will see if he can get one made up for me....so we will see lol im being persistent

Any oct 7th sleevers! I start my 2 week pre op diet the 23rd of this month. Def ready

I emailed my ins coordinator to let me know when they sent in to ins and she never did. I called my ins company today and it has been submitted and they sent the letter out on the 11th she said the notes said that my surgery meets criteria so does that mean approved?

Well you look awesome. I guess a flat one is better than one that completely weighs you down. My last weigh in for insurance purposes in monday and I hope to be on my liquid diet this month..i'm ready

I haven't had my surgery yet, but definitely get plenty of fluids. Exercise is key, I guess I could start hydrating better before surgery with lotion that has collagen in it. I havent had any kids or anything. If I have a flap it really wouldnt bother me just as long as i am healthy...wrinkles would be better though ;p
