  1. Hello I had mine done on 5/31 so I am right there with you! How are you doing with your food intake? In the beginning I was eating nothing my most solid was yogurt but now I am eating soft foods but not only mushie veggies and I am having no problem with any food I have tried but I am afraid that I may be eating more than needed. Yesterday I had a south beach chicken ceaser wrap and a jello for lunch and last night I had a 1/2 of a grilled chicken wrap. Where are you with your eating??
  2. I was convinced that my surgeon dislocated my shoulder and broke one of my ribs that is how much pain I was in from gas. Today is day 14 for me and for the past 4 days no more gas pain!!! I tried the gas-x strips, the nurse at my office said you could use 4 at a time if needed. Don't worry the pain WILL go away!!!
  3. Hi I too was banded by Dr Warden and I live in Slidell area. I had my surgery on 5/31/07 and I am not sure if I am eating too much for only being 2 weeks post op. I can tolerate everything and I am just doing soft foods but pretty much any kinds. How was it after your first fill?
  4. Hello Rene, I live in Slidell and had my surgery on 5/31. I also can eat everything that I would like. I am not eating as much as before surgery but have not had any problems eating anything at all. I have strayed away from the diet of mushy veggies and am just sticking to soft foods. I have had chicken and cheese enchiladas (only in small amounts). I am hoping that I am not stretching my pouch. To my understanding things will all change after the first fill so I am enjoying what I can while I can.
