  11. Chunky, thank you for your concern. I have a followup with surgeon tomorrow and will discuss those findings with him and see if there is anything else he can do
  12. This morning i was at 298. Woohoo twoderland! Haven't been there in who knows how long
  13. No tests before surgery and had offered nothing but the reglan at the moment
  14. I have been having post OP issues since day after surgery. Can't drink enough, then severe gerd complete with waking up choking on yuck. I was sleeved August 28 and have been re admitted to hospital twice since for dehydration. Three barium swallows later and it has been confirmed my esophagus doesn't like to let anything through it. So the pain in my chest and the feeling of things sitting there has not been my imagination its real. My surgeon says he does not know if this was a problem prior to surgery and i just didn't know it or if this is new. He has put me on reglan and admitted that i could be on it for life he doesn't know yet. So that's all i have for today. Just praying the meds work
  15. Just seeing this post and thought i would share. After surgery my gerd was horrendous. I almost immediately started taking my prilosec 2x a day and that only barely helped.would wake up every night choking on acid. Was put on reglan for a month and that worked. Was sleeved August 28 and am down to taking prilosec only once a day again. Gerd seems to be mostly manageable now.
  16. Chicken is pretty much the only meat i can eat since surgery. Red meats are harder to digest.
  17. I am going to my first support meeting tonight at Tobey
  18. Glad I found you guys. I've been wondering how you were doing. Sleeved by Dr Streeter on 6/19. I'm over three months out and feeling fantastic!! It takes time but it is so worth it! I don't really know how to use this forum' date=' how do I get notified of a reply?[/quote'] So glad you found us. I can't remember how to get notifications, i am trying out the new app and its so different from the old one. I do get email notifications on this particular thread. I am doing better. Down 37 pounds. Still having a hard time with Water, i just don't like it. Have found that i prefer warm fluids so lots of decaf coffee and tea for me. Do have a juicy juice apple juice box every day that is delicious. Also still drinking one meal a day to help with fluids. Aside from that i feel good. Heartburn almost not a problem at all. No longer crushing pills.

  20. Bea i thought we were to report on Thursday. Yesterday was Wednesday so i didn't even step on scale. This morning my weight is exactly 304. Woohoo much better than i thought
  21. Lipstick definitely resized and platinum is deserved
  22. Thank you guys so much. I have to say something about the rings lol. I had always wanted a princess cut diamond and when my husband proposed it was not with this ring. He was so sweet that he returned the original ring and let me pick this one out. Also i had them sized up once already and then still couldn't wear them. I am so excited to have then on i can't stop looking at them. Btw I am really not a jewelry wearing girl.
  23. After two plus years i can get these back on
  24. Yes i told them i was getting it. His words were something asking the lines of me being even better looking and healthier. He's an obese man said he would follow my success. That was the first time i met him because my original cardiologist, his partner, had passed away. He never mentioned changing the dose and when i called yesterday i said i had the bariatric surgery and that it was that surgeon that changed my dose
